Hello HubMobsters, we are starting a new week, with a fantastic topic for the most awesome HubMobsters on the web. First of all a big thanks to all the hubbers who took part in last week's HubMob and a warm welcome to all the new HubMobsters who joined us last week for the first time.
I am sure you are all familiar with the old sayings "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" and "you are what you eat". Does it remind you of something? It reminds me of stubbornly sitting at the table, lower lip stuck out refusing to eat the veggies on my plate. My mom's voice drifts from the confines of my memory "you need to eat your vegetables", "you must finish your milk", "eat the meat!". Do you remember that? I am sure we all share similar experiences as the nutritional war has been fought for centuries in every home. And as we all know having tasty appetizing food on the table is one of the best arms to win the battle. So the Topic for this week's HubMob is going to be Food and Recipes to help all those homemakers win the daily battle in their kitchens and dining rooms.
Some ideas for a HubMob are:
- Finding the best food buys
- Nutrition: protein, vitamins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals
- Recipes: breakfast, eggs, sandwiches, soups, starters, beverages, main dishes, vegetables and rice, desserts, cookies, snacks.
- Culinary Arts & Cooking Techniques: Microwave cooking, steaming, stir frying, cooking terms
- Food for Kids
- Food Safety
- Markets & Food Shops
- Quick & Easy Recipes
- Restaurants & Fast Food
- Vegetarian & Vegan Recipes
- World Cuisines
- Diets
- Special needs: food for diabetics, gluten free diets, food allergies.
- How to read labels for ready made food.
To join this week's HubMob
please follow the steps below:
1. click this link and answer the Request that I entered in for all of you HubMobsters.
2. Choose a relevant title for your HubMob and feel free to use the tags that I suggested and add your own tags. To get a good ranking in the search engines make your title relevant to your hub content and avoid starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
3. Choose a relevant category for your HubMob
4. Write an awesomely comprehensive Hub that completely covers your topic idea.
5. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/request/11308/best?new&rss
6. Add the HubMob image specially made by ProCW for the occasion to your Hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
7. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity!
8. Keep track of your Hub and keep us updated on any traffic that you're getting.
Yep, that's about it - have fun writing your HubMob Hub this week and please let us all know if you have any questions. Have fun, you crazy HubMobsters.
Sounds really great!!! And Healthy!!!
The search engines should really eat this up!!!
All the best, HubMobsters!!!
ProCW
If some of you could come up with three, five or seven course meals, the search engines would REALLY have an appetite for those!!!
If you have some great recipes for dieters, try coming up with...

Glad the topic helped you, thranax! I'm a fan of the George Foreman Grill!! It can produce some great steaks indoors, huh? It's "Food"-related, so it's just fine.
Thanks for the contribution.
Did you unpublish this, Thranax? I get a "this page does not exist".

I don't blame you. I'm buying corn flakes this weekend. LOL
Can we change the "secret ingredient" ? it would be fun having a different secret ingredient for each child (I have two children, sobetween them and me we could have 3 different "secret ingredients" and then have a little game to see who can guess what the secret ingredient is ....
We are going to have fun with this
You can indeed, just be aware of how your substitution tastes combined with brown sugar.
Digging through my recipe cards for some great family recipes!!! This is going to be fun!!! I hope my family doesn't get mad that I am sharing them.
Anyone remember Spanish Bar Cakes? It turns out my recipe for Irish Spice Cake is almost the same one so here it is with a few others:

Not very adventurous on the table ProCW? Just when I was thinking about inviting you for dinner and prepare my snail salad as a starter I guess I will need to change the menu
Sir Dent I'll need to invite you too then, can you come with that delicious Peach Cobbler?
Actually, you should visit us for the "fete de luma" which is a snail festival in May; Luma is the local name for snails. There are so many snail dishes during the festival that it is difficult to believe, and if you like races, you can even gamble on a snail in the annual "snail race"
Wow, it amazes me how many people that do not know what they allow in human foods. I posted that information on the bottom on my hub. We eat bugs or bug parts and other things every single day!
Here's my recipe for my favorite meal, Greek Chicken Saute
Hey, maybe some of you experienced Hubbers can shed light on why I changed the title (because obviously it was too long) but it ended up in the URL anyway. Or should I ask that in the Help section?
Anyway...Opa!!
