I have reached the point where I don’t care about SEO, hot topics, etc. I’m just looking for my next article to write. I humbly suggest the following:
Enter a topic that you do not intend to write about. Maybe it will trigger a thought-process that helps someone else. Humor/frivolous/facetious are perfectly acceptable; as is serious/random/bored. I’ll start; here are three:
A rant.
Pork chops.
Puns.
Insects, I hate them. All bugs.
But never say never, as they say. How about insects, that kill people?
-Lack of water in the world
-The chinese are coming
-Food production in America / danger to the system
-The summer is out
Try a 3part series on something you know a lot/care a lot/are passionate about.
I selected Fortean/alt researchers/topics for a series - kept me busy for a while and I can still add text as I learn more about specific researchers/authors or if I read more books from the authors I already wrote about ie: book reviews, commentary can still be added to improve all hubs in the series.
You mentioned Pork Chops, I would kill for one right now, all pork banned here in saudi arabia... How about a series on how pork tastes and ways to cook it... or how to brew beer so I get some more hints how to make my own here - but don't let the authorities here know or I will be in big trouble... lol
Subjects I shall never write Hubs for....hmmmmm....

WOW! Some good suggestions showed up here! I’m betting some of them have actually been turned into and/or evolved into hubs as a result.
I’ve written a rant since my last posting, but that’s about it.
More ideas:
Halloween is closer than you think.
China won’t attack us; they’ll just buy us.
Have you hugged your pet python today?
I like to create hubs from news i see.
I get inspiration from what I see on tv and research an angle...
I asked this question a few days ago. Some of the answers might get your creative juices thinking.

Also, check out my "hubstorm" hub. There's a link on my profile. It's about thinking up new ideas to write hubs about.
Search "HubMob" threads or hubs. Well over half of my hubs are HubMob and Contest hubs. I always have leftover HubMob ideas.
You can go to any one of the HubMob roundup hubs which I write, and look at the tags. You can find the most recent HubMob roundup on Back to School on my profile page. I created a "rmcrayne hm ru" tag. Click on that for an RSS of the HubMob roundup hubs. A plethora of ideas.
LOL mega, you got to it too fast. I scratched it my self. hahaha
This is cute!
I saw the title before and didn't realize the slant of it.
How about
- bunions
- world calendars
- the next/biggest/greatest fad
Thanks to previous postings, another article idea has been triggered. Am half done with it.
Don't think about what you think we want to read or something that flows with other hubs
Take a deep breath slowly think of something you love and know a great deal about
What's the first thing to pop into your mind?
I don't care if it is the sun
every thought can be so creatively presented to YOUR satisfaction
So go write the first thought
Then we'll all laugh at you
Oh c'mon just joking
good luck

Just wondering what new demented gems may have developed in the last 2 months...
If you're curious para then you should check out Stan Fletchers hub on killer hub ideas. The amount of hubs currently being written with titles such as 'things my refrigerator said', 'dead kittens' and 'how to cut the cheese' is kinda frightening.
Of course I haven't bothered writing any such nonsense. I'm a sensible writer me ...

Hello, here we are starting a new month after a very successful contest last month. A big thank you to all the HubMobsters who took part in last week's HubMob, we wrote more than 60 hubs on the topic. You can find them all in the round-up hub done by rmcrayne, do not forget to visit...

This week's HubMob has taken more of a consumer, money-spending, self-indulgent shift, which is totally OK with me. You see, this week's HubMob Topic of Products, Products And More Products! Hub about a product that you love or that other people love is designed to appeal to that inner mall-loving,...

Greetings Fellow Hubbers,I don't think I'm going to do any hubs on teens, however I did some keyword research on teens. After taking out all the porn related stuff, this is what was left. If you are having writers block or topic block, here you go. These topics are what searcher at the engines are...

Hey there HubMobsters! Before I even get started on this post, I feel like I should let everyone who is reading this know exactly how awesome it was to see all of us Hubbers come together for last week's HubMob, which was the first one that we have ever had here on HubPages. We had 30+ Hubbers...

Thank you to everyone who contributed to last week's Welsh HubMob, the response was amazing, 47 hubs published in a week. Most of us who were not familiar with Wales and its enormous influence to the USA and worldwide culture in general, have learnt a few things last week. Hopefully...
