Unlike all you lucky people in the US, I have to wait till $150 for a payout. And with just five days left for the month, I need to make $2.22 per day to reach payout this month. The question, of course, is whether I can do it. I've had a few days where I got between $3-5 but most days average about $1.50.
Wish me luck!
Wow, that's impressive. I generally only get somewhere between $3 and $3.50/month.
I say I'm not writing on HubPages to make money (and that's not the primary reason I do it) but golly wouldn't it be nice to get a check every now and again!
Good luck,,, mos days average for $1.50 is amazing for me, You can do it and keep your spirit to reach your target.
I do wish you luck, Wry. It is certainly within the realms of possibility - you don't need that big an average increase!
Thank you. If I can get that much it also means it will be my highest adsense month yet - and I was having such a good week at the start of the month, but my clicks have been all over the place.
Last Saturday I even had a whole day with NO CLICKS!
Good luck to you! I missed the dang payout one month by $5.12. It sure made for a nice payout the next month though!
I do hope you can manage it! If not this month well at least next month will be a big payout and maybe by the month after your average earnings will be more then what you want them to be now. All in all you sound like you are doing reasonably well with adsense, for that I tip my hat to you
I was doing amazing last weekend, got £10 for one day, now I'm back down to £3-4, I was getting between £5-7 on average.. I don't know if different ads are being displayed or what, but my impressions are the same :S
I didnt realise that Australia has a larger payout threashold. Well good luck and fingers crossed for you!
Do we, I thought it was the same for everyone? Why should Australia be different?
Good luck Wrylilt.

I assume either because Adsense is American OR USD are the main currency for 'net transactions.
So obviously they're taking the exchange rate into it somewhere...
Same as the pound is different...
GOOD LUCK WL! You surely deserve it for all your hard work!
Good luck to you. You are off to a good start. I'm in the U.S. and it took me almost 8 months to reach the first $100 payout.
Goooo Wry
It took me 8 months to make my first payout when i started on adsense too because i missed payout on the 7th month by just $0.71. Best of luck WryLilt!
Thanks everyone. And as a correction - I 'technically' started at the end of January so I'm coming up for 8 months soon. So I'm definitely on average!
(And on a high note I've sold between 2-6 items per day on Amazon for the last three days.)
Edit: $8.85 to go!
Best of luck. I missed my payout last month and was kicking myself. But then, watching it get massive, it made me excited to see how much it would earn for this month. If you miss it, you'll be pretty happy come this time next month.
Thought I'd bump this thread in hopes that Wrylilt will post an update.
I just discovered that I only need $18.59 to beat my all time monthly record and the payout I'm beating was a two month payout where I narrowly missed the payout one month and it had to roll over into another. It's already my best month to date.
Did you make it, WryLit?
I have passed my previous highest total for Adsense. As I mentioned before my highest was actually a 2-month total when one month I missed the total by just a little bit. So, it's nice to have done more in one month than that one was. It's also my highest single month.
I think I only like under $3 having my highest Amazon month too. This month will then beat my Christmas sales last year.
I certainly hope this is a good sign for how the next few months will be.
Oh noooooo......it just means a bigger check when you do get it.
I know how you feel. Just checked my Adsense and I missed out by less than $8.
But then again, on the plus side, I'll hit payout in October and receive my check December (I hope) so that would be a nice Christmas gift for me .
Once I made payout but then maybe because of invalid clicks my earnings went a few cents below $100.
Well on a positive note, you will be happier to get a larger sum next month.
Hey Wrylilt, I understand I have only $1.06 left until payout and guess what I don't think I am going to get it.. I have $98.94 right now...LOL..
cheer up wrylit..while it means u fall $2 short for payout this month..it also means you have headstart for next month..
I average a penny a day. Maybe less. Never had a pay out, but I have enough for one now. I feel sad.
And thats a U.S payout, not an Australian pay out.

I was wondering how much people actually earn on HubPages through HubPages ads program? Does it produces better results than AdSense? How much hubs and tgime does it take to start earning? Yeah, I know, so many questions, but I really need to know the answers. Thanks in advance for answering it.

I've heard that natural time frame takes an average of four months. Anyone else have different results? If so, how did you do it?

I only have $5 to go to reach payout for the first time. It took 2 years but I really don't count the first year because I only had 5 hubs that sat for a year so I figured it took about 1 year to reach payout. Is it true after your first payout your next payout comes quicker?

So, since Panda (or since the HP ads thing came out and I signed up for it... I can't really tell which given I'm mainly too lazy to look very hard into it)... my earnings have all transferred to HP ads and only a trickle of Adsense.Do HP ads populate INSTEAD of adsense, but not totally (since I am...

Finally, I reached google adsense payout today, what a memorable day! It took exactly 9 months, I just hate to start again from zero now. How long did you take to reach payout? Just curious:0)
