I hope the hub pages people are awake and sort- I sometimes think that they understand the time differences and place them when the staff are in bed

The spammers know that the 'office' don't work weekends, it is a normal Friday night saturday morning thing now.  I guess the spammer is or was a hubber.

I reported a spam post on the HubMob forum late last evening, and it was removed within minutes.

the only way around it is to have someone in a different time zone on a contract to deal with spamming or flagged up points. I have always thought that all the eggs are in one basket in a time zone sense

That's a really good idea Caseworker!  I didn't realise there's no-one on "spam duty" over the weekend.  If that's the case  spammers have a long time to spread the word according to them!

I say engage a keen hubber or hubbers from a different time zone to keep the site clean.

they are probably on pay per post jobs- like $1 a 1000 posts! so you would posst til you were caught.

Its just a bit frustrating that we cant do anything about it at the moment- but at least we have all learnt not to click on them

Another typical Spam Saturday on HP…. smile

edit: For that matter, they could do it from home.

edit #2:I herewith apply for this job. –paradigmsearch

It is a community effort to keep the forums cleaned up of spam. Flagging profiles is top priority. You can report each thread as well, if you like.

I reported some threads. I also reported the profiles. smile

Not a bad thing at all, Just remember there is a fine line between being flirty and being fed a line of BS. If you know what I mean.

But Hey, doesn't bother me, lay it on thick. I'll lap it up.
