I just saw sudden spike in views on a hub and checked Stats to see from where. I followed the link to webpronews and followed their link to my video I made for YouTube and he even linked\d to my HubPages article.
The video was made for fun and as a joke. My first attempt, which does need work!!! lol
I hope I can show the link here Since it is not my site!
Google Panda Update Gets Animated (And Kinda Weird)
genius marketing! I hope you own a piece of that animating co.! Way to go - you'll be able to retire soon!
mega remember we talked about this? clothes when in forums, my goodness, and wipe the booger, pull yourself together girl ugh
booger? heck, I didn't even see dat booger! tanks for telling me about it! and I have severe closet phobias so I just can't get it together to pick out and actually put on any clothes at all lately. Also, being a merbaby, clothes don't work so well in the ocean water. tanks for your innerest tho!
lol, I wish I owned the software. It is software available on YouTube I used.
Videos can be a good marketing strategy for hubs.
I'm gonna try that - maybe with my slang hubs a video would do well. thanks for the idea Michael!
Hi Michael, that's excellent fun and very interesting. I didn't know such a thing existed. Damn, something else to take up precious time with.
Good luck to you with this.
Congratulations!! I saw it and I loved it. I hope it brings you lots more traffic and other good stuff.
Thank you. Those animated videos are the easiest to make. I was surprised how easy. My next one will have planning!!!
I thought it was funny and at least it brings some attention to what Google has done.
Congrats, Michael - that's really neat.
Now if your hub just had a couple dozen links to works by "The Great Wilderness" it would be even better!
Hope you get more of these kind of things - they're great for moral (and traffic and income). And when you report them, for the whole HP.
OMG...those links would take me #1 on the web! The Great "WIlderness!"
I used the Free version/beginner (lol) which is very limited in what you can do with the animation.
I do plan on investing to the full version so I can unleash a more creative side. I could see a new niche coming to be!
Michael, I was using Yahoo tonight as my se and your article came up number one, so I followed the link...great article by the way! That's proof that Google's getting outclassed as a search engine!
Wow, noticed another site has picked the animation story up. It is webmasters.ru. Seems that my cartoon and the other one that was posted to youtube back in March by another person have been discovered and creating a buzz!
Sweet dude congrats! I was actually messing around with that GoAnimate thing yesterday. First time I'd ever seen it. I like it, but it seemed like a lot of trouble and I think they wanted me to pay money. It wouldn't just let me do what I wanted.
I used the free trial version I guess you would call it. I have experience with Powerpoint animation (kinda), so I found it similar in a way.
To use more than 4 animated characters and add your own images, you would have to upgrade.
I will be checking out what more I can do. It really is giving my hub a boost.
Hub views hopefully will increase since I finally figured out why the link in the video description was not working.
When you paste your Hub url in, you have to make sure the "www" is added or it will not be a live link.
I could imagine, I can't wait for there to be great software for free. That is actually free throughout.
Congrats, just watched it. This sounds a great idea to produce animation videos. You could get some serious traffic. Keep us updated and good luck.
Big congratulations! I get the WebProNews update emails, so it shows that I must start reading them a bit more carefullly!
I just spotted this thread Michael. Congratulations! You deserve all the hits, you are always learning and applying new ideas.
Remember to keep an eye out for storms though!
Wow, that's awesome! A couple of days ago one of my hubs was featured on a popular European forum and I witnessed a huge spike in views to that hub. I think It was what brought me over a thousand views.
How wonderful to read some great news on the forum!
Congratulations MW. Well done - hope the upward trend continues and it converts to $$$$$$$$$$$!
not a bad 1st attempt. omg with that animate site I could make some messed up stuff lol
ya I just made 3 simple videos. I can really do damage with this site!!!

This morning I received an email from a Hubpages staff member regarding Google snippets (ie, Google Answer box) with this link. I would just like to say that this is something VERY worthwhile. I have been working on ranking this way for over a year, and so far am doing quite well with it. Remember...

I have spent the last month editing, updating, and writing new hubs. This week I received an email from HubPages that I have published 25 Featured Hubs, which puts me in the Top 3% of Hubbers that have "achieved this milestone." I am so thankful for the feedback that so many of you have...

Hey there! So I published an article a few days ago and asked for feedback from different people. Some people said it's very short and kinda a copy of other articles so I should rewrite it. (I don't believe that it's a copy, those were my ideas but yes they are same as the article they mentioned) I...

On January 1st I published a rather long article on the best hypoallegenic dog breeds for an apartment. I noticed that the article already has decent traffic and when I went to check it on Google I found that it has gained the featured snippet rank.Is there anything different about this article...
