I'm tired but want to stay up and wait for my husband to call.
Wondering how many crazies I'm gonna see in the store today buying fireworks! I can't believe how many people have told me about their childhood history of blowing up mailboxes!!
Yes, they are illegal in Illinois but everyone drives across the river to Missouri to buy them there. As long as people aren't too stupid about it, police generally leave people alone.
why do crows gather around your window and crow their faces off for no other reason than to drive you bananas?!?
I'm wondering why men have nipples, other than for ornamental reasons.
Had to work tonight and covered an outdoor concert and got to see the fireworks show tonight. Nice!
been walking, working whole week...now its sunday and doing my best to keep my feet up and relax!
Thinking of the lyrics: I think I'm in love and my life's looking up.. By Eddie Money.
Well now I have save it at You Tube, I have over 600 songs saved.. yet another pops in my head, and why do I have wake up songs so often lately too anyhow? Well I guess it's okay to wake up that way.
Wanderlust must be hereditary. My older son has done quite a bit of traveling and my younger son wants to when he finishes college. He's talked about hiking the Appalachian Trail. I tell them, 'go for it! You only live once" (too bad I don't take my own advice, LOL)
Parked 25 of my domains yesterday with AdSense. Wondering why the $$$ keeps going up and down and up and down. Just told my friend that it's like visitors click, but then *somebody* steals it.
Ideas?
Got let go today at work after 8 years with the company.....I'm wondering if this is a turning point to something good *but just can't see around that closed door just yet*
I'm really really hungry but there's nothing good to eat
The world is full of interesting characters - you don't even need to read a book to find them, just listen to the news.
So my lawnmower broke about half way through the job - looks weird!
I woke up this morning feeling good. I love to sing, and I started singing Cabaret. I was listening to Broadway greatest hits last night and Cabaret got stuck in my mind.
"What good is sitting alone in your room? Come hear the music play. Life is a Cabaret, old chum, Come to the Cabaret."
My stomach hurts. Was it the sit-ups or that salami? mmm salami.
I got 8 minutes Abs in 6 minutes.. I wonder if I owe them a refund?
When people miscommunicate and misspeak, it can make for some very funny situations
Last night, I watched an old movie "Crash" about different people, good and bad, rich and poor, police officers and thugs, and finding themselves crashing onto each other's lives by shear coincident, or fate. It was an awesome movie.
I saw that movie, Rosie, with Matt Dillon, right? It was a very interesting movie the way their individual stories tied together in the end. You're right-very cool.
It's Friday morning and I need to get out of the Sandpit and into writing some hubs !!! before I waste away the day.
..mmmmm...my coffee is tasty this morning...i wonder.......
I think I'm addicted to HubPages again. I've only been back 3 days and I can't keep off it!
Working on the right configuration for each of my sites... thinking my hair is getting more thin by the second.
The heat and humidity today are almost unbearable... when is winter coming back. SLAP!
They're good when they're hot and fresh, nasty otherwise!
I've been holding on to my first Google Adsense cheque for a few days now... should I open a new account just for my Google cheques. But it might jinx it. I don't really want to spend it. What to do.. what to do.
Lucky you to even get a Google Adsense check. I think I'm stuck at $2.24,
Well, I have to conduct a workshop tomorrow for students and don't really have an agenda yet. My brain is burnt out from working on papers all day.
This year started with a 4 figure check from amazon associates. Then it was a 3 figure check, now I'm barely scrambling to make a 2 figure check... Not happy.
It's lunchtime. I think I'm going to have a peanut butter sandwich.
So sad, third child this week between 3-5 years old to be accidentally shot and killed after finding a gun in the home and playing with it.
just because someone else is doing something or has done something doesn't mean it's the right thing for you

I'm reading a lot on how many recommend taking the hubs you have and building on them or changing them for another article site. Anyone doing this? If so which site do you recommend using? Sounds like a lot of work and before I do this just want to make sure it is worth it. Thanks again!

This was written on the hub of a writer recently: "I'm in touch with my feelings – maybe a tad too much, seeing as I can write on command about them".Sort of implies that this is not a good thing....Why would this be bad? I really don't think there's any such thing as being in touch...

How do you cope with the thought of your own death?Calling all you 'older' (ahem) writers out there. Do you find yourself becoming a more melancholy person as you get older? Does your mortality begin to hit home? If it does, how do you cope with it and stop yourself becoming just an old misery guts?

Now that several niches have been announced, has it changed the way you write for HubPages? Are you thinking about writing more for a specific niche? Have you been lucky enough to already have several in a featured niche? Not asking for specific examples, no links, -- just in general.

Don't its not even about the money, over-priced and over-hyped that the product is. Its about the spam bots that come and try to trash your blog if you crticise - except they ain't bots they were people once. What started as a low-key exercise in SEO has turned out into a full-scale example of the...

When was the first time you really began thinking about your own mortality? Was it a certain age? A certain life event like the death of a parent or friend? The birth of a child? I'm 45. I had a good friend commit suicide when I was 39. Still, I don't think I really thought about my own mortality...
