Take a minute to read Ravi's interesting true story about a feral child.

Thanks for sharing this one Pamela.

Ravi's story about this feral human being is most interesting.

Perhaps they should've left him in the wild and became his friend.
Maybe learning more about his life and letting him remain happy.

I've heard about this before in a couple of movies I've watched.

      Terrific article.

This is a very interesting article, Ravi. I had never read any true stories about a feral child before, although I'd heard of them. I can't imagine this truly happening where a person is on all fours and running with the wolves.

My children loved 'The jungle Book' and watched it many times when they were younger. The actual story of the feral child who inspired Rudyard Kipling is really very sad. He would have probably lived better and more had he remained in the jungle. Thanks for this interesting article Ravi and thanks Pamela for sharing.

    Hello Raviji,
Thank you for sharing this interesting and informative article about the inspiration behind ‘The Jungle Book.’ I wasn’t aware about Dina Sanichar. The book and the movie has been a favourite for my children and myself.
Thank you for sharing this information.
    Thank you Pamela.

Ravi has shared a very sad story. Like others who have replied, I don’t think that the person that he described should have been removed from his animal family. It would have been good to gradually share with him what it meant to be human, though, and let him make his own decision about his future.

I read jungle book in my preteen years and would never have imagined a real person could endure that life. Thanks for the details. Very interesting! Thanks Brenda, for Shari the link.

This is a moving account of Dina Sanichar who was originally a jungle boy and couldn't adjust in human society. I am glad Rudyard Kipling was inspired to create "Jungle Book" based on this Mowgli. Jungle Book will live forever in memory of the original jungle boy. Thanks for sharing this awesome story, Ravi.

Thanks, Pamela, for sharing Ravi's post.
