What is your favorite Beatles song?

I won't list any because I don't want to influence the answers, but I'm just curious as to which Beatles songs are your favorites.

It would definitely be Hey Jude.  I remember 1969, my boyfriend would take me home after a date and then drive back to Brooklyn, where he lived - he said that he liked it when Hey Jude came on the radio because it lasted almost the whole ride home.

I saw the Beatles at Hammersmith Odeon, as it was then, in 196?, saw being the operative word, impossible to hear over the screaming girls. I liked all their pop covers, Mr. Postman, You Really Got a Hold on Me, etc.  However, I much preferred their own stuff, what is my favourite, well I didn't know then, how can I know now?  I Am The Walrus, but it may be different tomorrow:-)
Yes, In My Life, and yes, Hey Jude.

Gosh. I remember the beatles! I like "Hard days night", but if it is only one, it can only be "Hey Jude". Great question.

I am a huge Beatles fan, especially the early years before their psychedelic phase, which I still liked just not as much.  The older I get, the more I like 'In My Life'.  Probably because I can relate more.  I notice that one was mentioned by a couple others as well.

Mmmmmm - my favourite Beatles song, now that would have to be Hey Jude, for a couple of reasons 1 because of the catchy chorous everyone knows and sings along to,and 2 because it reminds me of a holiday I had when I was about 9,in a cold wet and windy seaside town in the uk called Bridlington! Hey Jude was No1 in the charts. Oh happy days!!

I like the song "Let It Be". Just happens to be the most memorable song by them, which I have heard.

    I actually have two...
For sheer beauty and inspiration it has to be Across The Universe.
For fun and You Know My Name, Look Up The Number wins hands down.

This is a really difficult question to answer. I've been a Beatles fan for nearly 40 years and constantly change my mind about which song I like the best,

Listen to the different versions of Strawberry Fields Forever on Anthology 2; John's voice is haunting, it's a tremendous song. But choosing a favourite song should be based on the finished version not it's development. So sadly I'll disregard Strawberry Fields.

I've recently bought the remastered stereo set and it's a rediscovery of The Beatles. I can't stop listening to You're Going To Lose That Girl, Girl, Eleanor Rigby, Helter Skelter and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Butt if I had to choose a song it would have to be A Day In The Life.

Just a few days ago i put out a hub about my favourite Beatles singles, and have since found this question. It was a close run thing, but in the end i went for Hey Jude just beating Strawberry Fields Forever.

I'd vote for Penny Lane or In My Life, followed by We Can Work It Out. There are probably 20 equally good choices, not something you can say about contemporary bands!

I like "In My Life", "Norwegian Wood", and "I'm Only Sleeping".  But I think their most beautiful song is Lennon's "Across the Universe", from Let It Be...Naked, when all of the extra stuff by Phil Spektor is removed.

I love their song Black Bird. It is so soft and lyric, I play it to my self on the guitar sometimes, but I admit I can not do the part in the song when there are birds chirping, so I have to listen to their version instead, which is better anyhow smile. The Beatles are great!

I always say Michelle, but there are so many.  Blackbird is way up there, too.
