    Do you like Eminem?

Eminem is the best-selling musician of the last decade, so I figure some people must like him.

I like most of his stuff.  I generally prefer the tracks on his cds that are not released as singles.

      i love eminem.
      i love marshall mathers.
great storyteller, great lyricist, great artist, and i've heard he is a surprisingly sweet person. doesn't surprise me, though.

what DOES surprise me is the quality of his new music! hmm
right before he went off the radar a few years back he started getting really controversial and now he's just like the bulk of mainstream hip hop...watered down gangsta rap.

Errm I like about 15 or so tracks he's done. He's very hit and miss for me, some of his tracks just don't work for me. His latest album had maybe 2 good tracks on it, one being the single.

Who Made You is his worst single to date IMO. Awful song.

I hope the first single off his next album (if he has one) will not consist of him dissing celebrities - it's starting to get old.

I liked his latest album, but it's definitely not on par with The Marshall Mathers LP, The Slim Shady LP or The Eminem Show.

I like We Made You,(better with the video) after the annoying woman singing at the beginning, I didn't like that.

The Marshall Mathers LP is still the undisputed champion of his albums smile

Eminem is one of the most talented rappers ever. And I admire the fact that whatever he is going through in his life he shares with his fans through his music.

I like the public discourse his music sparked regarding topics like homophobia and sexism, but he's far from being a legitimate artist.  Once the shock factor died down his music exposed itself for what it really was: shallow and obnoxiously commercial.

    He sucks.

I am a huge 2PAC fan and I like Eminem. In my opinion, the quality of Hip Hop (or rap) declined tremendously when both Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. died.

However, Eminem (and maybe only 2-3 more artists like Nas) lyrics and story-telling are excellent.

It was interesting when one of Tupac's songs made the Vatican's 12 Favorite Song list on MySpace last month.

Eminem has the same story-telling abilities to do the same.

I do not prefer his music over any other, but he does exercise his use of free speech. I do like the comments he made about Bush- I believe alot of them are true. I believe he will have more to come, and more power to him. He gets a A+ for being unique.

I have a love/hate relationship with him as an artist. I think that he's brilliant at what he does and admire him as a musician and a writer (and yes, I count him as a writer, assuming he pens his own raps, because much of what he says is quite clever).

But then again, I don't agree with a lot of what he says and some of the more violent tracks scare me. But I guess it's that push-pull that makes him interesting.

I liked his first couple of hits he had when he first started. I would call them one hit wonders, but since I'm not a fan of rap, I can't really give him a good vote. Also he degrades and disrespects women and uses foul language in his songs sad

I thought for sure Eminem was going to be a one hit wonder when My Name Is came out. He seemed like a one hit wonder.

I also figured that Vanilla Ice ruined the chances of a white person ever becoming successful through rap again.

I love him very very much. I feel like he often is speaking straight to me. His voice gets down inside my soul. I think he's very bright and I love that he wears his heart on his sleeve. If he's feeling it, we are going to hear about it!

A lot of his songs are satirical commentary about popular culture and/or parenting. I think that much of the time though people just don't get that it is satire.

I also know that my mother was a pill popper.. which makes me mad because I cant seem to figure out if she was on them between the pregnancy for me.. or when she was abuising me . to be honest I dont want to know the truth not because my school knew before me and wont tell me and I wont ask again... its because no matter what my mom did I still love her because shes my mother... even though it angers me...
