I have used the title tweaker and it is easily one of the best features you have developed recently.  It is features like this that will build upon HP success - you are really doing a top class show here guys!  Well done!

I tried to load the title tweaker three times now on different days/times but it took such a long time (about 3-5minutes) before I exited.

Has anyone else had that trouble?  My computer isn't the fastest but its not a excessively slow either.

BTW I love the title and hope to see the suggestions soon!

Done!  Fourth time lucky and this time it took just 30seconds to load and I implemented four of the eight suggestions.

Great tool thank you HubPages team.  I love it!

Title Tuner is a great feature released by Hubpages. In no time, I was able to edit titles of at least 10 hubs according to the suggestions. Thanks a lot for sharing this HP.

This is what I mean when I say that it annoys me so much...you take a suggestion to change a title and the suggestion ends up being far worse than the original that you had!

The tool is called "tuner" which should suggest that it tunes it up to make it better, not that it should suggest metaphorically taking a sledgehammer to a peanut.

Maybe they should change the name, but the tool is working exactly right.  It's like the "suggested tags" system - it's not compulsory to accept any of the suggestions, you're expected to use your common sense.

All the tuner does is look at how people found your Hub, and tells you if they were typing in words that you've missed.  If you include those words, it's likely to make you easier to find.  It's not always possible to do so - it's up to you.

Don't like the new photo set up at all.
The other was way easier to use.

Title Tuner is pretty cool though.

This new Photo Tuner is just about the The greatest thing I have come across  . . It was like a walk down memory lane revisiting all my Hubs. So many great ideas popping into my head!

And the ease of using it in new Hubs as well as in the forum, well, this tool just couldnt be better in my book smile

PHOTOS ARE AN ESSENTIAL ASPECT OF HUBS, AS ARE VIDEOS.  Just as video capsules allow hyperlink connection to YouTube and other video sources, the Photo capsule should present hyperlinks to Flik'r, Google Images, Free-Foto and three or four other sources of sourced or public use photos to insert into Hubs. A library of photos could be offered to photographers to feed into a Hubpages repository which grants a license for their use on Hubpages but credits the photgrapher with ownership and copyright and creates a hyperlink to the photographer's website by double clicking on the image. This would give Hub authors more time to write rather than search for photos to illustrate their point in a Hub.
Artists who draw, paint, sketch or otherwise illustrate could be offered the same or a similar option. NASA is one such source which licenses use of their beautiful images. Similarly, government agencies allow use of their data and graphs and statistics and have spent billions accumulating information which can both inspire and illustrate articles. There are billions of images in the public domain and Hubbers should have these images at their fingertips.

I am having trouble with the photo capsule as well. As an inexperienced computer hacker, I am lost.

Hello Hub Staff thanks for the new feature.  One question, how do you make your photos into a slideshow on your hub. I really don't like the photos spread out on the hub the way they are now.

    1. Marisa Wright profile image86
Marisa Wrightposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Fastfreta, if you have more than 5 photos in your Hub they will automatically become a slideshow (you just need to be sure that option is ticked).

You can load all the photos into one capsule and that will create a slideshow - however, many readers won't even notice the arrow and will think it's only one photo. So if you don't like the look of lots of photos in the Hub, the best option is just to reduce the number.  They're not compulsory you know!

I have similar problems uploading the photos, the photos are either not there or my browser keeps on crashing, I have one hub that I have not published yet because of this problem.

Does anyone envision that we can use the Title tool on individual hubs?  For example, Is it possible to perform a title search on a hub that does return in the list when clicking the tool?
