Money can be a tool but it can also be like a curse if one cannot handle wealth!

My big complaint about it is how disgustingly germ-y it is.   smile  (I've been known to literally launder it - as well as wash my debit and credit cards very carefully).   smile

What kind'a money ya got in mind?

I like some money, but the paper crap has lost so much value that it can't do for me what it used to.

Now there are other kinds of "money" (def: "A medium that can be exchanged for goods and services and is used as a measure of their values on the market, including among its forms a commodity such as gold, an officially issued coin or note, or a deposit in a checking account or other readily liquefiable account.) that I still like but most of those kinds are too damned expensive to buy with my paper money....DAMNIT!

What I don't like about paper money is that I have quite alot of it...but,...it keeps shrinking! arghhh!

What is the one thing you don't like about money? There isn't one thing I don't like about money.

Money is a tool. It is used by people to get the things they need/want or desire. Money has(not is) power, that power is to be understood and respected, and it deserves the respect paid.

You mean besides the fact that we need it to survive or the fact that it causes a diversity among people causing there to be a economic social classes where you have the rich, middle class and poor....well nothing then. big_smile  Of course, I always wished things could be like the way they are on Star trek where EVERYTHING is free.  Sure, there's the gold press latinum bs they use to make deals with other alien cultures, but on earth, in that universe, EVERYTHING is free.  You don't have to pay for anything, and people just excel at jobs they want for nothing more than the satisfaction of doing something they love.  wouldn't that be a great world to live in?  big_smile

Perfect answer and the one I thought of instantly when I saw the title of this thread. My experience is that people who bemoan money and the love of money are those who have never been sat - quite literally - penniless, with no money and no food. Been there, done it - and most certainly don't want to do it again! hmm

My problem is I still haven't been able to learn how to live without it. The way economy goes, it looks like you need more and more of it. Do you know by any chance, where can I possibly buy a decent money press? Second-hand is all-right. It has to be in good condition though, so I can make really good money. big_smile

Money is a problem when you don't have enough of it and a useful commodity when you do.

The problem with modern money is that for me to have a dollar someone else must need it, and the more someone else needs it the more valuable it gets.  About time the system of value exchange was based on the value and not the means of exchange.

The worst thing about money is that it isn't even real and yet we think it is.  It has reduced us to putting a currency sign on everyone and blinded us to our real worth.

it is dirty to begin with. And with speculators raising oil prices, which in urn raises other prices in stores. This then put stress on you to make more money to cover the difference.
