0Indeed...but if you just scroll around you will be able to quickly identify what percentage contains substance and what percentage is based on plugging a product.
Though some of the "plugging" hubs are extremely informative and well written...certainly no offense towards the writers or their hubs in that regard. The disdain is more towards the obvious "copy and paste" rhetoric that some people think is passable in peddling their wares. Just have a look...come to your own conclusion ya know.

I would love to have a beer with you to discuss hubpages. I love it. I kick up a bit on some of the forums, but don't mind taking a few hits from the opposition!
This is a wonderful site, and every time someone complains about hubpage management in the forums it is premature, Maddie and the crew get it sorted in short order, but it must take a hell of an effort with so many forums and hubs!Yeah I've offered to be a part of the nipple-slip police, but that was a no go

It is a massive slice of time out of a single life, and you have it all going so smoothly with your other half. It sound to me like you and your BF are able to love your way through your relationship. A terrific way to be, and I am one hundred percent in agreement with what I have read of you two.

She is 38, she had my boyfriend when she was 16. She is an amazing mother. And I obviously think highly of her. But, come on, you got plenty of time lady. And she would like a granddaughter because she has 3 boys. I didn't think I was taking requests? Nor that I had a choice in the matter? But oh well. Thanks for being so sweet earnest. It means a lot. I hope I'll be a good mother, when the time comes.

My kids are grown and single, and I'm happy for every year I get to have without being a grandmother yet. I know I'll be happy with them when they do come along, but I keep telling my kids I don't want to be a grandmother until I'm at least past 60. (Old enough to have a little gray hair, the way Grannies are supposed to have; but young enough to, hopefully, live to see them grow up. )So seriously, I see what you guys are saying about spammers. I hate do this but, I totally just wrote my 4th hub on why this is happening.

Not "everyone" loves the beach. I go to school with people who hate the beach and we can walk to it. Rock is the only genre of music we have in common. Glad we both like to read and watch movies though

The horror flick sounds very inviting actually....with as much rubbish comes out of the genre which I commonly ignore you had me at "70's"...as well as the mention of the rather shaky stock in regards to the cinematography.
Huge vintage horror movie fan...anything with the name Vincent Price and DVD has a place in my home....would love to hear more if you care to provide the details. You're getting more interesting every minute.

dude guys are those guys who are shallow and or lack intellect. Those kinda guys who think having balls is doing something like skydive and screaming rock and roll! But when real danger hits they pee on their pants. I can go on and on, but that would take hours. As for me being jealous, Baby, you only wish you had a taste of some of this African chocolate. Its value is indefatigable.

all the people I see spamming the forums are signing up long enough to post on the forum but aren't writing any hubs. So ... I was thinking. Help, we're drowning in spam - the engines canna take it, Captain!
Title says it all, really. Why not prevent people from posting to the forums unless they've written at least one hub? Most of these spammers don't have a hub to their name. It wouldn't sort the problem out completely, but it would cut down on the spam a bit.
