What do you think is the reason God remains invisible physically?
I believe it is because if we were phycially able to see him then we would not need faith to believe.
Perhaps a more obvious answer might be that he doesn't actually exist. We invented him and is no more real than the Gods of Rome, Egypt, Greece or anywhere else for that matter.
We as Christians do see God. We see Him daily, maybe not with the naked eyes in our head but definitely spirit to spirit. Now person in human form can look upon the spiritual awesomness of Almighty God, but our spirits look upon him constantly.
God has infinite forms, He is the great Seen and Unseen.
Look around you right now and you will see God; however, the majority you will not recognize him there.
He is in the Good and the in the Profane and all things in between. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Nothing has existed, is existing, will exists without his consent. There is nothing He is not. In a sense, He is also what he is not. He is One and also Infinite the same time. There is holy purpose for this, which is out of scope of this topic.
He is both Spirit and appears in our physical world. But who recognizes him? Some of his physical forms can be found in prisons, ghettos, brothels, playgrounds, the White House and almost everywhere. Also look into you if you need to find him; do you really know who you are?
Why is it written that you are the temple of God? I believe there is more to this. God’s truth here is too magnificent and grand for any religious institution to accept.
He prefers not to be identified by only one form. He may chose a form at a certain place and time. He would appear at another place and time in another form. It could be a burning bush, a bird, a rock, or a distant star.
No human can comprehend his true sublime form.
So look around you. He has always been, is now, and forever will be with you.
Perhaps it is because appearing physically would make little to no difference in the world. If you prescribe to Christian beliefs (as I do) then a belief in the old testament reveals that when the Israelites were guided by pillars of fire by night, and were fed from the heavens which rained down food, they still turned away from God. Also, more blessings are available to those who believe without seeing. In the gospels Jesus says "blesses are those how believe and have no seen"
What form would God need to take for mankind to believe it was in fact God himself? He came in purpose in the flesh as a human once already and was rejected? Who's to say He is not already visible? It may be that He is standing right beside you and you just don't recognize Him.
The kingdom of God is within you. God is in everything, so no matter where we look, God is there.
First, He didn't remain invisible for ALL people. There are many anecdote reports of His appearing, or people visiting heavens and hell even now.
Second, if He appears to unbelievers, what do you expect Him to do? Say something meaningful? No, He might be forced to undo His creations right there because unbelievers will choose to remain unbeliefs, although some other will choose to repent. He prophesied that He will appear prominently during the End time, but a lot of people will continue to blasphemy even though they see God. (See the Book of Revelation)
Third, He chose to stay away because sinners make slanderous remarks about Him. If He contronts the sinners, He had to bring swift judgement right there and then, however, like many wise and good men, He chose to let the events play out to let the sinners see for themselves whether their choices were as good as they thought.
He chose to refrain from major interventions as long as people have relative free will but not free enough to lead to total extinction of human kind.
I think the reason God remains invisible is that it doesn't exist and only twats believe in it.

You don't believe in God, because you cannot see him, can you see the WIND?I know there are all sorts of reason and philosophy out there to deter you from believing in my GOD. What makes someone who wants to believe in a God incapable? No matter how much I want to be part of the majority my brain just doesn't allow for the belief in a God. What is different about the brains of non believers (or maybe it's just me) that makes me/us incapable of belief even when their is a...

This is a hypothetical question. If in fact whatever religion you happen to believe in was not true, what would it take to persuade you? Obviously, the more severe the charge, the more evidence we demand in order to accept it. For example, if your buddy told you he had Chinese for dinner last...

Why do most people, whilst they acknowledge God's existence fail to live for him?The devil has done everything he can to make people think that he doesn’t exist and yet most people live for him. Most people, though they believe in God don’t live for him. Why is that?
