Try to have simple activities each day to attain your goal and make it a routine you’ll love to do every time you wake up in the morning. Stop doing crunches if you’ll use to it. Take 10 minutes for jump rope and squat thrust then have two jumps in each turn of the rope. Limit and or if you can, avoid drinking alcoholic drinks. It’s another cause for that disturbing stuff in your body.

    Hello,

I believe the best way to reduce belly fat is by doing what is called core conditioning or core exercises.  The belief that you have to do crunches or sit-ups to reduce belly fat is just that, a belief.  Although crunches or sit-ups are great, to really reduce belly fat, it is important that all the muscles get strengthened around the belly.  Equally as important are the muscles in the lower back.

Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work together which leads to better balance and stability as well as a stronger, leaner body. The exercises also incorporate the use of the exercise ball, medicine ball and/or and light weights.

When all the muscles around the belly begin to develop, the belly begins to disappear as well.  The end result, if effort is really put forth, is a sculpted, shapely you.  Yay.

It may take a little while, but it does work and it's worth it.

The best way to reduce belly fat is to try to reduce bodyfat levels throughout your whole body. The idea of loosing bodyfat from one specific area is called 'spot reduction' and has been proved to not work in many studies that I have looked through over the years. So this then leads to the question of how to loose bodyfat from all over my body (bodyfat from the belly will be lost during this). To loose weight you need to be in a calorie defecit. When in a calorie surplus your body gains weight and when in a calorie defecit your body will loose weight. It really is as simple as that. What is the hard part is working out how many calories your body needs and making sure you eat less that that.
The best way to do this is to find out your Resting Metabolic Rate(you can find an RMR calculatoron google), this is the amount of caloires your body burns if you were at rest all day. Then you add to this any extra calories you burn from exercise during the day.
Now you know how many calories your body burns in a day. So to loose weight you need to eat less than this.
But how many less calories do I need to eat? Well, one pound of bodyfat is equal to 3500 calories. So if you want to loose one pound per week then you need to be in a deficit of 3500 calories in a week, or 500 calories below your daily total. So to loose two pounds per week you need to be in a deficit of 1000 caloires per day.

Now the hard part comes when trying to stick to this new diet, the easiest ways I've found are by tracking what you eat throughout the day and writing down the calories and when you reach your total for the day, you know you can't eat any more that day.
I've just written a hub about using skipping (jump rope) to aid in weight loss, please feel free to view it at

as another poster has already said, spot reduction does not work and a huge part of the equation is having a balanced and nutritious diet that is around 500 calories below your maintenance amount.

On top of this diet my recommendation is a simple circuit of bodyweight exercises such as squats, push ups, pull ups (I also like rowing with a resistance band), lunges and it wouldn't hurt to add in some crunches (perhaps on an exercise ball) as well. Each of these exercises can be modified to be easier or more difficult suitable to your level of ability.

Do 10 of each exercise, then jog to the other side of your yard (or the park, where ever you choose to exercise) and back, then do 10 of the next exercise and so forth. This combines some cardiovascular training with resistance training in a full body work out.

I do core and stability training for other reasons but unfortunately as far as fat loss goes it is virtually pointless in my opinion.

    Hi HubMania...
In my opinion est exercise is the combination of right exercise and right nutrition. Both of them will effectively help you to get your goal quickly, and will be more effective if supported by a best exercise machine.
If you need information about it, I have hubs about how to exercise right.

    Best regards...

we are used to believe that the abs work in a different way than other muscles but the truth is they are muscles and they behave as any other muscle, exercise your whole body, if you want to reduce body fat go for cardio training, HIIT is the way to go, High Intensity Interval Training, You´ll be burning calories like crazy, just remember to keep a balanced diet this is even more important than exercise.

One of the most important benefit of interval training is that it helps you lose more fat than muscle. You are not going to benefit by having a big body which has more fat than muscle right? Interval training burns more fat than muscle. Use it till you attain a proper weight with a proper protein and low-carb diet. Now go ahead and read the information on how to start interval training to work for you so that you burn fat around belly, lose calories, and achieve successful weight loss. read more
