I believe so because then the other party starts to feel like you're smothering them and they pull away.
While I wouldn't say having an excess of love can kill a relationship, I would say that living out all of your feelings with one person can use up a relationship.
It is a matter of doing a lifetime of things in with another person that can cause a relationship to become "boring". When you have done all that you can with one person ex.: getting married, having children, getting a house... there might simply be nothing left to do.
A remedy to this issue is to find new things to do with things to do with your significant other. Another good piece of advice is to enjoy the moment and slow things down. When it comes to love, there is no hurry.
There is no such thing as being too healthy, too happy, too rich, or having too much love!
If you and your mate are madly in love with each other that can never be a bad thing. However if one person has a different level of love or would rather express their love in a different way than you then there may be some issues.
Generally speaking when someone wonders if they love someone "too much" odds are (they don't love themself enough).
Most likely they sense an "inequity" in the emotional investment within the relationship.I recently wrote a hub on this very subject.

Yes, because excess of love yields jealosy, which is known to ruin the sweetest relationship among two people.
I don't think so. What kills a relationship is when the love are uneven or one sided
I believe so because if someone loves you too much then the you either feel smothered or you might even unknowingly take advantage of this over-excess of love you think they have and abuse it by showing them less attention thinking all-the-while "Well they'll love me no matter what."
absolutely though in most cases i'm not sure it is excessive love but more like infactuation which many confuse for love.
I think that one can not have an excess of love. Maybe smothering your spouse can kill the relationship. Everyone needs space..
If you are overly possessive which many times can be interpreted as love - then that can kill a relationship. No space to breathe and move.
Water is vital to plants and crops.
Plants and crops can drown...........
"excess"............more than is needed or customary"
By excess, it implies that it means too much.
An excess of anything could be too much for a relationship.
yes of course if someone loves you too much then the you either feel smothered and abuse it by showing them less attention thinking all-the-while. so excess of love can kill a relationship...........
No.
I think there is no such think as "excess of love"
But love is very seldom selfish,if ever.
It is sometimes that being posesive or jealous or absence of trust can kill the love.
It is my deepest belief that true love can not be killed..........
No, excess love not kill the love but it is the over possessiveness that kills the love. Everyone needs space and over possessiveness kills that space and so on love.
Yes, I used to love a girl excessively. After awhile she tricked me like sh..t. We then broke up. It was my fault, all because I loved her too much, given her the opportunity to took advantage over me.

Do you think doing too much for a guy in a relationship, turns him off?A friend told me that doing too much for a guy, his laundry, cooking, shopping, especially in a new relationship, can turn a guy off. She said the more he does for himself makes him feel better. Do you agree?

Is it Good to be Over committed to serving God?Is it possible for it to be a wrong thing to do, by being too serious with God's work and being less serious with other things?
