My temper is not bad at all.
I get frustrated a lot, but rarely angry (loose my temper). I see no purpose in it. To me, it's a negative emotion. It has it's place, but I rarely call upon it.
Today, not bad at all. Forty years ago, not so good. Finally figured out I had a problem when I lost two weeks of memory in a red-haze rage against a lowlife restaurant owner who insulted me in public. Went to work on it then (before that I'd been foolish enough to take PRIDE in my temper). Took about five years to really get a handle on it, but awesome ever since.
hooray for you ghost32. Similar in a sense, my temper subsided when I finally was diagnosed with bipolar disorder - meds, education on it, and therapy. Temper is just one symptom of many
Temper? Well, i once hit a hammer on a bearing and broke it; I hit a spanner on the main engine, got a dent and then had to repair;kicked on lub oil pipe line, got it broken, lub oil all over the engine room, had to clean it myself. Well you get frustrated sometimes, and you shout and try to calm yourself. Yes, that does happen a lot with sailors, to be more precise and engineer sailor.
It used to be pretty bad, and with a short fuse to boot. I seemed to have grown beyond that with the help of meditation...and age. Now I never "lose"it, if I get frustrated(usually with myself) I just walk away from what Im doing, and take a little break. Algebra is helping me practice this.
I think as we mature we learn to supress our temper ,we realise that its no good shouting and bawling it achieves nothing and usually ends in tears ..I used to have a short fuse when my kids were small but now im quite mild mannered although if my fuse is lit I should be avoided at all costs !!
HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT!!!!
Just joking. I think I'm fairly levelheaded. Others may say differently though.
Why?...What did you do? lol The word temper is short for temperment which usually cools as time passes. The same thing in life, as U age U see that everything in life that happens badly is not the end of the world. Like these other fellows it has gotten better w/time, and a few broken objects. ...W
In my youth I've destroyed things because of my temper, but never harmed people.
I'm pretty chill the majority of the time, but if somebody pushes my incorrect buttons...it's on!
I have a great temper actually. Nothing ever makes me anger to a point where I go crazy. I can say that crazy drivers annoys me.
I tend towards easy going--but have my moments of short temper--not too often though.

Hey there,I quit smoking in January and so far so good, I'm not consumed by the need to smoke. My main problem is when I socialise and have a few glasses of plonk (and before anyone suggests giving up booze, let me tell you, it's not going to happen!). I start looking at people smoking and they...

How can a bad mood be detected in what a chef is cooking?

I'm trying to do real research here. I'd really like to know how you as a parent felt when your child threw their biggest public temper tantrum. Were you embarrassed? Bewildered? Angry? The more info you can give me the better. I
