Why was I banned from posting in the forums for 15 hours?

I am not allowed to post on the forums for 15 hours. Ok, so surely HP must have sent me an explanation as to what I did wrong so I can learn not to do it again. I went and checked my email and NO REASON GIVEN!

HP staff, even if someone reads all the rules you post, people are going to interpret them differently and they will need clarification in order to get on the same page as you!

A little communication can be a lot more effective than randomly throwing someone into a dungeon for 15 hours with no explanation to what they did wrong.

Did you personally attack someone?  You're supposed to be civil.  Although from the looks of the forum, that's not always true.

I agree with Cassie Smith - I've seen some very rude and personal comments against  people and they have been banned on other occasions nothing seems to have happened. I was speaking with one hubber who was banned from the forums, like yourself, for saying something as silly as 'your full of crap' to another hubber - personally I don't think that was overly offensive compared to some comments I've read. I think it would be best if you get in touch with the HP staff to find out what has went wrong.

@Cassie Smith - No of course not. That would just be silly, immature and pointless.

I have sent email to the HP staff asking them to explain why they banned me.

How is this different than getting sent to jail and then having to ask your jailors why you are ther?

I think it may be because of the "Nazi" comment you posted in the forums.  I don't know, though.  This one just stuck out to me.

15 hours is nothing. The one and only time I was banned was for 3 days.
I was banned because I asked someone is anyone had called them an idiot lately.

It's not big deal, I wouldn't worry about it. It happens to the best of us.

There really was no point to write a hub about it which will probably end up getting flagged anyway.

rbe0 - I have no idea about being banned from forums. But I do find it interesting that you refer to your ban as "a dungeon, and jail". And I feel that if you find this ban such a serious offense to yourself and your well being that you need to reevaluate your life. It's the forum on hubpages, it’s not a life or death situation.

    I'm on a 3 day hiatus because I called a troll a troll.

I have been banned as well for 31 hours. And I don't know why. I think it's because some hubber told me I was self promoting in my forum and that was forbidden... but I was just showing her a link with information to help her. Some people here are just mental

i think it may be because of an unrelated comment or two or more comments voted down

Do hey tell you if you are banned?   I have not been told I was banned but when I try to initiate a forum on my front page, the circle thing just keeps rotating and rotating and never goes to the next page.

Were you all told you were banned when you were banned?
