Luck is no more than being prepared for an opportunity when it arrives. Some people are more in tune with hidden opportunities that most of us don't see in life.
I recently wrote a hub about luck and, frankly, I don't believe in luck. I believe you make your own luck in life and that one should never count on luck to help them with anything.
I agree. There is luck, but it is what you make it; be lucky towards others
I don't believe in luck. I do believe that people's actions, thoughts and reasoning are responsible for what most consider luck. The rest is just chance.
Yes, I do believe luck is part of our lives.
Luck can be changed as depending on your own Karma. If a person does good for others, his/her luck can change for the better.
I believe in Karma & its effect on a person's luck. This is an important part of our lives. Feng Shui helps a person to change luck & fate and that is the part where one can control.
I have seen helpful people be consistently unlucky yet some of the most mean and unhelpful people getting all the luck in the world. How do you explain that?
For your comment, it maybe that those mean and unhelpful people had done many good deeds in past lives where they are reaping the good luck in current lives. But if they do not change to be better persons, they will have their ill-fate later on.
No one can be lucky enough that he/she can achieve sucess without any effort. We have to make effort to be successful.
I love Luck!
If given the choice during a computer game character creation I always make luck one of my strong suits.
I think luck is one of the most exciting and balanced systems in the universe and welcome as much of it as possible.
I do also feel as though I am quite lucky mostly, i'm also somewhat convinced it's almost like a skill you can get better at.
Not at all important. If you rely on luck, sometimes you will win, sometimes you won't and you still end up in the same spot. I make things that I want happen and if they don't because of forces outside of my control, then I let it be and move on or try a different route.

Is it possible to change or better oneself?Through personal experience, I feel I have in some ways changed a great deal over the years, especially in my beliefs. Have you changed a deep part of yourself through choice?

Should being kind to others be the most important thing in our lives? Some religious people say that you don't have to do good to other people but simply believe a set of doctrines in order to be right with God. Other people believe that we must live good lives in order to be right with God. Some...

Why do most people, whilst they acknowledge God's existence fail to live for him?The devil has done everything he can to make people think that he doesn’t exist and yet most people live for him. Most people, though they believe in God don’t live for him. Why is that?

Is life the only thing God gave to those with horrible lives? Is that worth faith? In a journey to understanding a thought process by many, I see many believe in God because of all he has given them. What about people who have been given nothing and have led a hard life? Are they believing because...
