When you do a bit of traveling do you like to go far distances or on shorter trips?

It doesn't really matter for me, I do both, however I do not like driving for really extended period of times, so if it takes too long to drive, Ill fly.

My heart longs for long trips -- Mars, Saturn, Alpha Centauri.

But without a starship, I'm left to taking shorter trips. Right now, I live in the Philippines. A lot different than Arizona.

I prefer longer distances, but its not to necessarily get far away from what I know. I prefer the longer trips because I like to take in everything I can along the way. I go for the journey rather than the destination.

I'm used to shorter trips, make us (family) feel more "safe" somehow. But in the other way, we would love to travel someday for more distant country of interest. ONe day.. smile

    Cheers

I like going long distances because the journey alone makes up a good portion of the trip! It gives you time to think about what you want to do when you get there.

We love both, I am at Darwin airport right now on the way back to Kununurra WA after seeing my daughter in Adelaide for a few days .
My husband and I have recently enjoyed a weekend away nearby at Parrys Farm/ Overnight stay at Horizontal Falls WA and a vissit to the Whitsundays . We are saving up for a big trip to Europe / Britain/USA/Canada next year but the main thing is that we are together to share the experience wherever we are while away .
Even a day trip is fun if together.

me like going long trips. It is nice to take slow and feel less pressured. Taking and experiencing everything one at a time would make your trip memorable.

It depends on the time I have. If I only have the weekend, I would opt for shorter distances because it would be less tiring. For longer holidays, I would go for farther destinations so that I can explore places which I seldom visit or have never been to
