History, art, movies and music. History is particularly important for me. Although I don't necessarily publish very much in the history category, I do a lot of research and pretty much all my hubs are written within a historical context.

Lot of things interest me. I love music, art and craft, health and nutrition, parenting, teaching skills, good housekeeping, politics and social issues, spiritual topics--the list goes on.
I am curious about anything and everything and like to read and write about it. I like variety and versatility in writing.

I have a lot of interests and diverse experiences that I like to share. I have written about a couple of current events, fitness, social issues, pets, and more. I understand the value in niches but, I prefer variety when writing. Lately, I have been doing more studying than writing on HP.

I write prose and poetry, and I enjoy writing about, just about anything that I have knowledge of and is of interest to me. However, Nature, medicine, and agricultural topics are my strongest subjects since I am most knowledgeable on these topics. Also, I am scholar in theology and history, so I enjoy writing on these subjects also.
    Thank you,
    Dr. Haddox

Anything that I am passionate about at the time.  It can be something I've read about or saw on the news or a craft project or recipe I'm making.  What about you?

Pretty diverse range of  topics but I have concentrated mainly on using my photography to create a range of Tutorials on Wet Felting.
I have a great passion and love for photography though macro photography is something I have a passion for.    I use HubPages as a platform to share my close up images of small insects which I meet in nature.  I also like to talk about the experiences I have with them in an intimate sort of way.  All of my pages feature my own photography and are often taken with a project in mind.
I think this is a great question.  I have long been thinking what is the best way to find other writers who share the same passion and hobbies.  This question may lead some of us to other people whose work we may not already have come across so I very much appreciate the question.  Thank you.

Fan fiction. I'm rather active in various fandoms, and it amazes me what people write about and how.

Since we run a bed and breakfast in Edinburgh (http://www.badjao.co.uk) I write about Edinburgh a lot on our blog (http://therealbadjao.blogspot.co.uk/). I also write a lot about computing on my IT blog, (http://digitalsteampunk.blogspot.co.uk/)  and thos articles are linked on my CV.

Apart from those I write about Mysteries, like the Dashka Stone, Paranormal and anomalous phenomena, politics and the past: mainly to highlight the similarities between then and now, Health, Psychology and Human Behaviour. I have recently been delving into the sociology of businesses (Putts law and the Peter Principle), and have written about using the Gimp for editing photographs.

I like to write about tutorial lessons for young kids, parenting, motherhood, single mother parenting, kids, relationships, life, food and health.  I also like creative writing because I love stories and reflections in life.

I also blog about anything under the sun.

Anything that clicks. You can see all my hubs are on different topics. Anything that I think is good and would benefit others, I just write about it. So there is no limitation. It could be anything...

Mine are predominantly related to video games and science fiction television series/movies. Reviews, opinionated "editorials", concept ideas, etc, I just tend to stay with those genres (since they're what I'm most passionate about) and then I go on an individual basis after that.

To be honest, I write because I feel my words and feelings on paper are much stronger that having to open up and talk them out face to face. Throughout those years on hubpages, I have somehow concentrated on writing poetry. Although some of the poems are of low quality ( especially those of the early phases ) I believe that my pen is the only cure when my life turns quite hectic.

Major themes in my poetry are: Hate, pain, passion, distress, darkness, and betrayal. I enjoy writing while listening to music, which ranges from all sub-genres of metal , Japanese anime soundtracks, Classic music, Korean K-pop and rock, Chinese, and some random Spanish songs. Hence, my poems and their respective themes are all over the place. Yet, the most evident feature is the touch of darkness that I somehow can't eradicate.

I enjoy writing critical analysis on stories that I read throughout my childhood like Antigone, Farewell to Manzanar, among others. Research papers on subjects like motivation, cultural differences, plastic surgery, generation gaps, virtual love, organ donation , and other biology oriented topics intrigue me.

I have also found a itch for writing fantasy/mystery and dark stories, ones which mask my true feelings and mold them into characters that suffer against higher forces/powers. I usually write those when I face some emotional turmoils. Somehow, I use my characters as a shield and facade to voice questions and doubts regarding my beliefs which if heard without a mediator would not be accepted by my uptight society.

I sometimes try share some lyrics of the songs I have written, although this is one of my least tackled topics.

As a sum up, I believe my writings are quite eclectic, some might find them quite insane and out of place, but when they are on paper, I find a place where I simply belong.
