If Lucifer nealed before God and asked to be forgiven, would he receive forgiveness?
I have a question that I have thought about a lot. Do people who believe in God of any type of religion, believe if Lucifer nealed before God and asked to be forgiven, would he receive forgiveness? As a Christian I believe in the God's grace and that if anyone asks to be forgiven, it would be granted. I always wonder how much is too much to be forgiven. Jesus died for all sin but did it only mean human. I'm afraid to answer this question for fear of the arrogance to think I know what God would do.
Love your neighbors and pray for your enemies... Ive read that somewhere- do you believe there is a hell? Can such a gracious God so full of love for creation sit by and watch that He/She seeks to bring back to 'God'self' burn for eternity?
How about "love others as I have loved you" and "love you enemies because even the Romans can love their own", I'm more about the New Testament and less about "an eye for an eye".
I'm not a religious person myself, however I respect all forms of beliefs, having said that, if I learned anything from Supernatural then God left from Heaven a long time ago and currently angels are fighting among themselves and it's happening on earth.
I still don't really comprehend the whole religion thing even though I grew up among religious people (and still being surrounded by them), I don't think God can say what is good and what is bad, if you remember the old testament, it was God who killed, and gave power to kill. If you make a rule about something than you will be first to obey those rules to show by example, which is worth far more than just words. If He made Lucifer on his own image (just like us) he can't really forgive him for something He did as well, Lucifer is angry that humans get free will and the angels don't, which I completely understand, I'd be mad too, it's discrimination in my book. If I had two kids, and I let one kid have everything he wants, and don't give the other kid what I gave to the other one, than he might just become a psychopath, which is my fault. So I believe God should blame himself that Lucifer became a nasty *ugly word* cause after all, if your child makes trouble you don't abandon him and cast him out to burn for eternity, you help him and show him the way.
Supernatural is fiction it isn't based on the Bible but you're certainly entitled to your view. Lucifer wanted to destroy man, so I'm curious you're such a bad boy that you're down with that. He cast Lucifer to earth to walk among men.
To be fair, I find Supernatural valid as much as the Bible, it teaches values, and shows you what is right and what is wrong. But whatever Lucifer did can't be more wrong than the mass murder God did (on multiple occassions)
Alen did you know the first act of murder was committed by Cain. Do you know who he is? If you're not sure of Cain,
then you didn't get past the first book of the Bible.
And that is exactly my point - the timeline is what matters, so Lucifer wanted to destroy man (but he didn't commit murder) so He cast him out, Cain kills Abel, God punishes him, but then he commits mass murder thinking *Screw this, I'm God*
The Bible says that's exactly the way God works. His grace and mercy is available to anyone. If Satan asked for forgiveness, it would be granted. Will he do that? Scripture denies it will ever happen.
Since you're a writer, you know what it's like to be a creator. If you make a mistake, you erase the line and start over. After time rather than erasing the whole thing, you erase only what needs to be. If it says God created man in his own image, then isn't it fair to say God has changed as time's gone on. He sent Jesus which was himself, to understand temptation and God himself, as Jesus died for all of our sin. So you can go on thinking that God is some mass murder if that's how you see it. I see him as a creator who better understands his creation as time goes on. Man started murder not God then man became bad killing, raping and other horrible acts against humanity. The writer of Supernatural isn't so great if he has turned people against God. I loved that show until Alen wrote it like it was gospel. I now see the writer as Satan and Alen must be a follower.
The only sin that can never be forgiven is denial of your true self -- the Holy Spirit. After all, that's what needs to be repaired. It can't be repaired if you say it doesn't exist.
So, yes. Lucifer or anyone can be forgiven, but it takes far more than mouthing the words. You have to feel it, too.

If you believe Judas was forgiven by God -as I do- and Angels alike, why don't people forgive him?It seems people like to hate but doesn't this make them more like the cruel Roman soldiers than make them akin to The most high, God of all creation and munificent forgiveness, and if he needed...

Christians, If you sin and die 5 minutes later do you go to hell?So if you don't have time to ask for your forgiveness do you go to hell? Can your God forgive you and accept you into heaven even if you didn't get a chance to ask for him to forgive?

This question was pulled as a question, so I'm submitting it in the forum instead:If, with his dying breath, Hitler had asked Jesus for forgiveness, could he have been admitted to Heaven?

If you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit on one occasion are you doomed to hell or can you be forgiven if it was just a moment of anger in doing it?

I met my share of rapist and child sex offenders in jail. Even though many of them committed these crimes before I was born and they now seem very remorseful, it is almost impossible to look at them any other way. I have a hard time believing that someone who can commit violent sex crimes can truly...

Why is the sin against the Holyspirit not forgiven according to Matt 12:31?And what is exactly a sin against the Holy spirit which cannot be forgiven?
