Deep Purple - Child in Time
The greatest guitar solo in history!!

Thought of Louis Armstrong's "It's a wonderful world" right off the bat. But, Van Morrison's " Someone like you" is my personal favorite and was my late husband and my song.
There are so many but FREE BIRD by Lynyrd Skynrd is that one song which i like to listen to every time........and Living years by mike and mechanics...
If you lived here in South Florida you would get to hear it every weekend - every bar - all the time. That and "If you like pina colada" - I'm immune to these songs, but Freebird is good.
That's impossible for me to just pick one!
But here are a few:
Me gustas tu (Just love this one so much)

Recently heard it at a funeral.

Wow there are so many! but right now Sam Cooke - Cupid, springs to mind..

Led Zeppelin had alot of great songs but I just loved the way this one started in a slow Misissipi delta blues style and progressed into an all out rock classic !

OK I just want to throw in a couple more. I have always maintained that Roxy Music is one of the greatest unheralded bands of our time so I will start with this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuXKgLlsQcw
And the Immortal Jimi Hendrix has a song called " Angel " that is unbelievable. Just close your eyes and listen to the guitar work on this tune. It's unreal.

Radar Love by Golden Earring http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeRa3RtBiIU
ah, just some great memories with that song! ![]()
Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry solo both rock!
Here's one of my faves: Carrick Fergus.
Also love his version of Jealous Guy (even better than John Lennon's).

Radar Love is awesome -- cranked up while driving! Golden Earring's other (but lesser) hit "Bullet Hits the Bone" is good too!
Since we're time tripping, here's another one for ya.
I used to play this on my radio (college) a LOT.
Traffic's Dear Mr.Fantasy

Sublime? Still? I like their music. Are they still playing out as the Long Beach Dub All Stars?
Duh. We have the CD in our car. I should have known the right name. Yep, that's the one.
Here's another of my faves. Live. Lightning Crashes:

For me, there's nothing better than Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight - https://youtu.be/YkADj0TPrJA. I haven't heard anything better to relax and get goosebumps simultaneously. I've downloaded this song to my phone (you can download it directly from youtube with any converter like this https://www.flvto.biz/en73/ for example) to always be able to listen to this masterpiece (that's an important detail as this wish always comes somewhere without any internet connection).

I'm curious to what people are listening to at the moment. I'm addicted to Lady gaga - born his way and Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (not his style at all). I've been playing those on repeat

What are some good workout songs to add to my playlist? I like running and circut training...I need to refresh my workout playlist and I'm looking for some new, high energy songs to get me amped and keep me pumped for at least 45 minutes. I love music across all genres, so I'm open to any ideas!
