I have nearly 50 write ups and a few of my articles have been moved to Letterpile. But I do not find any changes in traffic. Farther I have yet to earn money even after joining Hubpages nine years ago. Should I quit now?
I don't think you should quit, but I think you need to change your approach to HubPages. Most of your articles seem to be in the creative writing category, which is not a good source of income for many people. In addition, you don't have many articles on the niche sites at the moment, which may also be a problem with respect to your income.
Perhaps as a first step you could update a factual article that you've already created. You could then ask for people's opinion about the article in the forum before you submit it to a niche site.
Good luck, Arun.
You should not give up if you enjoy writing and using this site, just do it for fun.
There are many like you including me who have to see a cheque from hubpages. Traffic is the key to earning. If your articles get views you get money. It is as simple as that. Keep trying.
I agree with bhattuc. Don't quit! Remember the story of the spider trying to reach home. At last he did.
Find out what it takes to get traffic. You'll earn then.
Miebakagh...
Lol! I've never heard that story.
I can only imagine.
Know why you're there, Arun. Then follow your Heart. Om Shanti! - Lantern carrier
Writing is not just for the money, but it'll come. Writing is a game. There fun in the game.
Arun, Quitting is your decision. Everyone has a different objective. If your goal is to make money, then don't quit. But instead, you need to be published where ads are placed on your articles. Most of your articles are still on HubPages, not even on Discover. They don't earn money on HubPages.
I suggest you work on those to bring them up to stellar status so that they get moved to money-making niche sites. Spend time in the Learning Center at https://hubpageshelp.com
If you're in it to earn money, don't quit. Instead, change what you're doing. Most traffic comes from search engines, and people are searching for creative writing content. Instead, keep writing that content because you enjoy it. In addition to that, learn about SEO and write some different content to. For example, you could write about creative writing prompts or how to write creative stories. The best articles are the ones that help other people

This last year I improved my hubs and had 112 featured of 130 articles: Now suddenly they bust me down to only 30 featured hubs. I feel this contributes to a websites decline. I made a comment on a survey that I don't get any payout for this site and gave my opinion, and now...

I wrote a *satire on the state of human health today. I know if I publish it on HubPages it won't be picked for Healdove as it is not scientific, nor for Remedygrove because it doesn't promise to cure anything. It would, however, fit perfectly well on a humor/satire site.Have any of you got...

Hi there,It tells you that it didn't pass the Quality Assessment Process. Make sure you haven't copy and pasted from other sources. Everything on HubPages must be original.
