Did you notice this in the most recent Hub Pages Weekly? How is it that this person doesn't have a profile?
Interesting, I hope HP staff will tell us know what's up!
There's a link to the Hubber's profile in the Newsletter. Click the hyperlink "Sandra Cooks".
She has a profile, Linda.
That said, I just read her article on homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli. Well, not all of it because I got turned off by the keyword stuffing. Something HP mentions in this week's newsletter and warns us not to do!
I hope she arrives in the forums and says "hello" because her ears must be burning.
I've searched, but I don't see one.
There are several Sandra's.
I thought Hubpages wanted us to use our real name if possible.
And a real photo, not a cartoon image. Me thinks HP has created this. Why?
The account was not created by HubPages.
But, if we try to contact this "person" or use the HP search, we are taken immediately to the Delishably page. How can that be?
I tried the “Contact” button and searched for the writer’s name on my phone. Both of these actions worked normally. Do you have a different device that you could use to see if the functions work?
There's something wrong here. This profile does not look like the profiles for any of the rest of us. Why is this being promoted? Why is a cartoon image allowed? We need and deserve answers.
Click on your name in one of your Delishably articles, and you will see you have the same type of profile. https://delishably.com/@carbdiva
I sent an email asking how I can see her profile & follow her.
Wait to see

This new AI technology is blowing my mind! Now there are cartoon characters producing real food!?!?
How about a segment: 'Not So Fresh, But Real, Faces of HubPages'?
The writing of each article seems to follow the same formula. And, as Bravewarrior pointed out, a lot of keyword stuffing. AI generated?
I assume as HP are promoting this profile, it's being highlighted as an example of good practice. They don't highlight material they think of as bad.
The only thing that raised an eyebrow for me was really the profile pic. I don't see it as AI-generated or keyword-stuffed and pretty much all recipe writers follow a formula regarding layout and style.
No they don't. I have 650 articles, all food-related and my presentations are nothing like hers. I'm not talking about using the recipe capsules. How many times can you say "spinach ricotta?" And, the photos are not accredited. They are not the author's--I was able to find the source with Google.
I tend to find what works and run with it. I think SEO encourages formulaic writing.
The photo thing is problematic if as you say, they should be owned by the user or copyright-free and appropriately credited.
Regarding keyword stuffing, her work seems to rank high enough in Google for it to be not considered keyword stuffing by them. For me, the search engine's definition is what ultimately matters.
The thing with keywords is a balancing act. You include as many as you can without upsetting Google.
From a practical perspective, the brutal truth is that Google is always the ultimate arbiter on keyword stuffing. Bravewarrior's, yours, or indeed my view is essentially inconsequential.
I didn’t notice the photo credits before. If the person is making her own products, why doesn’t she photograph them? That would add authenticity to the articles.
Exactly, Linda. I always include step-by-step photos of recipes I post. I take the shots as I go and incorporate them into my article(s).

Wanted to share an interesting observation with my fellow hubbers. For the first four months on Hub Pages, I used a clip art image on my profile. It was a painting of a woman who kind of looked my me- but not me.Yesterday morning I made a change- I swapped out the clip art for a photo. And, I...

Sure, this topic has been discussed before - but I want a fresh take. So, I'd like to ask the following questions~ a) do you use a picture of yourself or do you prefer an avatar? (and why, if you care to elaborate), and,b) what assumptions, if any, do you make about an author from viewing his/her...

I think People do this to gain more traffic to their profile? I was thinking of doing it too so I gain more but it makes your profile less personal, so I'm not going to now lolDoes this annoy anyone?

What represents you best on Hubpages,a photo of you, or an avatar of some sort and why?Why do you use the Profile photo you use? Do you feel most comfortable with a photo of yourself of an avatar of some kind such as a picture of a pet or a drawing or landscape photo?

Hello fellow hubbers, I have 2 questions:1. I have decided to reveal my "real" name here on Hubpages, but I haven't found the setting yet which allows me to put my name, like some hubbers have done, on their profile page, next to their pen name. For example, fellow hubber billybuc has his...

I've been flip-flopping between my robot head and pictures of myself. I just can't decide. On that note, do you believe having a real picture of yourself is more beneficial to your readership and the visitors to your pages because it gives it more of a personal touch? Or do you think it doesn't...
