   I work until 7am, home for a few hours of sleep, then off to my parents for dinner.  Lots of guests at Mom's, she likes to adopt orphans for Thanksgiving

   Huge meal at the inlaws. Usally it is a wonderful time. Right now, my sister in law is disgustingly insanely fuurious with me..(she is bi-polar and refuses to treat it...) HOPEFULLY she will kep quiet and peacable for one day.

   I'm gonna try to eat a whole turkey by myself, it sucks, everyone's going to L.A. and I have to stay here to take care of some business and celebrate thanksgiving alone. oh well=)

    We are having a quiet Thanksgiving with a turkey & trimmings.  More importantly, I'm also making BBQ Ribs - my son turns 14 that day and dislikes turkey. Its all about my son that day

    We're going ultra-traditional . It's not normal for my family in the last several years, my grandma was always the traditional one and always made enough to feed an army. After she died it fell apart for a while, but my mom is determined to bring it back .
    
    My other half and I are going out to my parents' house for a marinated deep-fried turkey (my SO said I HAVE to try one and my stepdad has always wanted to, so this is the year). My other mother, stepbrothers and their families, and a few orphans we've picked up along the way will be there. I'll be making my ever-appreciated pumpkin pecan cheesecake (my mom doesn't like pies, any of them...and though I love pumpkin and pies, I've never been big on pumpkin pie) and pea salad, my SO will be helping with the turkey, as well as making dill mashed potatoes and smoked turkey leg gravy. Between the mothers we'll have cranberry sauce, stuffing, pasta salad and pumpkin cinnamon rolls (along with anything else decide we must have). No idea what the stepbrothers or stepsisters-in-law will be coming up with, but in all it sounds like it'll be a really fun day .

    Haha, I basically am having like 3 Thanksgivings. One, is a pot luck thanksgiving tomorrow with a bunch of friends. I'm making baked ziti.
    
    Then, with my family, and after Thanksgiving dinner with my family I am going to my vegan friends house to have Thanksgiving with them.
    
    Plus, Wednesday is my birthday dinner. Oh, god...I'm going to blow up. Haha. xD

    My parents are divorced and I am married now, so I always end up having multiple celebrations.  Thursday lunch my husband I will go to my mom's.  Then to his parents for the evening.  Friday lunch will be with my dad.  He makes the most amazing dressing, by the way.  Then over the weekend we will visit with extended family out of town.  Hectic, but fun nonetheless.
