Have you ever wondered how much traffic you would get if you had a popular story on digg?
the most amount of diggs that I have recieved from an article that I submitted to digg is 12.
which equated to around 40 hits on the page.
I submitted my latest hub to digg today and wondered if it became popular on the site would it equate to alot of hits?
please help me to find out, please digg the story below to help it on its way and I will keep you updated on the results.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.....JIMMY

PS feel free to add me as a friend whilst you are there and i will add you too.
Dugg!
Let me know how you get on - I have had a a few articles with a fair few diggs...but never enough to make it "popular"
Looking forward to your results
Mark
PS...my digg profile is http://digg.com/users/mp12321
you need 150+ diggs in order to get on first page on digg.com
you have to join a few "buzz" groups for getting diggs and other support from people that are involved in "buzzing"
I thought HubPages was sandboxed on Digg because of spamming. Maybe it was another site, I don't know, but I know it's banned on one site.
Anyway, I get about 40 times as many hits from Stumble as I do from Digg. I think that's because people can happen onto your site on Stumble, and on Digg, it has to be found by looking for it.
Thanks for your help guys it has got 12 diggs so far, so i dont really think that the story will be featured lol, nice try though.....jimmy
I can't remember my digg password...
The most traffic I ever got from either digg or stumbleupon came when someone else submitted my stuff.
Jimmy, I'll try to remember that password.
ETA: I remembered it!
Jimmy what I know about digg is that in order for it to "skyrocket" onto the first page, those 150+ diggs need to happen within a very short time period...probably a couple hours. Additionally, comments help to boost the story.
Needless to say the story probably won't make it to the front page, BUT, you still get the incoming link regardless of how many votes you get.
Hows it going Jimmy? I believe encouraging people to give diggs (works) give opposite results most of the time.
Edit: Added you as friend I hope you will add me too!

Hello Hubbers,I had submitted my hub to be considered for exemplore.com. The next day I received an email, saying that it was eligible for owlcation.com along with some recommendations to improve my hub. I did make the required changes and submitted the article for owlcation. I haven't heard from...

I recently made a hub about a celebrity to in the hope of getting it to rank high for that term. I didn't even spend much time on it , it was just an experiment. It's a Sri Lanka actress I'm sure none of you have even heard about but it consistently gets around 70-80 hub views per day and most of...

Many of us here are working hard to upgrade our hubs so that they can be moved to the niche sites. I think it would be a good idea if those upgrades are viewed by the team the same way as new posts so that they can more quickly addressed. It's a shame to let much better upgraded...

Ever since I started working with HubPages, I've received requests for a feature that makes it easy for:1. Signed-in Hubbers to suggest (private) edits to fellow Hubbers' Hubs2. Hubbers (who have opted in to the feature) to receive, review, and approve/deny suggested edits to one's own Hubs. This...
