I see that many have asked several questions here. Giving someone else a idea of what to write about. What are the benefits of asking a question. And if your on with Google Adsense. do you split the money if you asked a question and someone else answered? Anyone Know anything about this?

The benefit of asking a question allows others to write about an idea and encourages another person to become inspired by the topic. If you are on with Google Adsense I do not believe you split the profits , however you can link there page to yours and vice versa so as others view there page , they then will come to yours and your profits will accrue. It is also another way to meet fellow hubbers as there are so many wonderful articles. I have absolutely wonderful fans and have met so many just writing I tend to toss  topics out there as I love to read what they have to say, as it is simply giving back to the community.
I hope this answers the question smile

Main point of that is getting an answer to your questions! No money split, just providing a topic to the community!

This forum is not for making money. It is a forum where people ask for help because they need help or advice...nothing more.

you really have not helped me at all. I got no answer to my question. What are the benefits of doing these things?

I think, from your question, you mean what is the benefit of making hub requests.  Is that right?

Well, I'm afraid I don't know for sure, but from what I've read on here I don't think that requests attract any adsense revenue.  They are for getting (detailed) answers to questions you want to know about.  And so far I've found them extremely useful and got some very good answers.

I think that we mainly get revenue from writing hubs and directing people to hubs.

I might be wrong though.  (Please correct me if I am, then I'll learn something too!)

Sorry, I assumed you were talking about the forum.
There is no benefit from answering requests any more than writing a hub.

Making Hub Requests is a part of your hubtivity. It will help in showing you are an active member, and more benefits are already discussed smile

It's a great way to help others get ideas. I know I do my share of request answering at times, so I figure other's are helping me with ideas, let me help others. :-)

Every now and then you will see someone posting a huge number of Requests - I think they assume they'll get some percentage of the profits from the answering Hubs.  You don't.  There's no monetary reward for posting Requests.

I'm SO guilty of this, but it's not to boost the cash in my pockets. No, seriously. smile

I will go around and send requests directly to different Hubbers depending on what they say that they're into on their profile or by what they have written their first other couple of Hubs on. I mainly do this to get some of the Hubber newbies up and running and writing Hubs on topics that will potentially get them some decent search traffic. Also, a lot of the requests that I send are things that I'd actually like to know about, too, so it's good for everyone involved.

Becoming a good Hubber, like anything else, takes time and some patience and I'll do anything that I can help our new Hubbers get through the first initial learning curve.

I think that everyone should try to send out a few requests here and there - some extra encouragement to write something new is never a bad thing, ya know?
