Hi it was quite a long time ago when i arrived at hub pages, the connections i made in this community, i feel are the best ones i have ever made.

I don't have too much time to come to the forums as once i did, but the last few days i have enjoyed them once again.

I am constantly reading stories, extrmely well written, of the healing and help hub pages has brought, we really are quite a community.

What has hub pages done for you?

relache, do you use your own website to link to HP?

your hubs are definitely top notch. anyone here should take a good look at them to learn.

For me HubPages is a motivation to write. To write in a way that hopefully interests other people and in a way that they can understand what I am  saying. It makes me check my spelling and organise my thoughts and present them in a certain way. Also it has been a learning curve and I am always happier when I am learning something.

Hubpages lets me talk about anything, while my .com's are niche-specific so I can't rant about topics outside of their subject matter.

Aside from that, it's earning me $$$ which is always good. big_smile

i still have to learn about earnings, can you believe it.  I have been on here so long, it took me about a year to work out how to put pictures up......... one day i will work out how to earn, but it does not seem to important at the moment.  I know all the info is out there, i just need some tuition on computer one to one.  One day i will get it, then you never know i may get rich. why did you choose the name origin..... it is very kind of original .

Well, I just couldn't stay away. Have had a short 2 mo. hiatus, working on a project, and haven't written much during that time. But I'm back and reminded again of how relaxing it is to write what you want, when you want, and how you want. No pressure is right! And lots of good feedback.

I've been here a year and, during that year, have gotten back into my poetry again and been able to experiment with other genres. People are great here, friendly and forthcoming. It's a good place to be.

Hubpages has definitely made me a better writer because of the many great writers here.  I see creativity in all forms of writing here. Commercial or otherwise....a lot can be learned from the writers here.
Hubpages also has the best format I've found. It is easy to use and looks good.  If one comes here to learn...they will.  If one comes here to teach....trust me...we can be brats at times.  smile

I love HP! I agree with all of the comments here. I have so many ideas and topics I want to write about and yet balancing writing with the rest of my priorities right now can be challenging.

It gives me a chance to read others work and communicate with people from all over the world which I really enjoy. I think it's a good thing when we can bring our big world a bit closer in understanding and acceptance/tolerance of each others differences. the forums especially do help me to look at issues from different points of view even though I don't always agree.

we all basically want the same thing.

Hubpages has given me a place to publish, taught me about getting traffic and SEO and has allowed me to make new friends even though I am confined to the pens with a chimpanzee and can't get out and about.

I am just now beginning to experience the limitations and boundaries of what can and cannot be done with Hubpages. However, I'm not planning to leave any time soon. I will expand my field of vision to other forums, while maintaining a presence here.

HP has forced me to reconsider a lot of my personal views of life and living. And I think that's actually a good thing. You don't have to agree with everyone, but sometimes it's amazing what you can learn from others if you're open to it.

Additionally, I've focused more on my writing skills, like so many others. And I've made some great friends here. Generally, although I do disagree at times with people, I don't really intend to be overly harsh about anything. I've had enough of that. I come here to destress. learn, and have a sense of community, as much as write.
