Best Way to Lose Weight With the Belly Fat Diet

Updated on February 8, 2015

Best Way to Lose Belly Fat

When it comes to learning how to lose lose weight fast or how to get rid of stomach fat, there is no secret formula. There is also no specific diet plan, food or even exercises designed to help you lose weight fast. Anyone who wants to lose weight or get rid of love handles will have to dedicate themselves to healthy eating and exercise. While this might seem like a lot of work or something that will take longer than you had anticipated, the good news is, you can lose belly fat and excess weight.

The fastest way to lose weight is also the best way to lose that extra roll of belly fat. When you begin to lose weight, you will most likely find that you are losing more from your stomach area than anywhere else; this is completely normal. The reason for this is what is known as visceral fat, the type found deep inside the abdomen. This fat is much more active metabolically which makes it easier to lose as opposed to the subcutaneous fat which lies directly under the surface of the skin. This is especially true if you happen to have a lot of excess fat. Also, the more weight you need to lose, the faster you will begin losing belly fat, but as you get closer to your goal, you will likely notice that you will start to lose those excess pounds a little slower.

Lose Weight and Lose Belly Fat with Whole Grains

A recent study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluded that a diet low in calories and rich in whole grains helped reduce excess belly fat. A study researcher said that a diet that included whole grains with limited refined carbohydrates actually changes the insulin and glucose response which allows fat stores to mobilize more easily resulting in an effective way to lose weight fast. This is perhaps one of the easiest and most helpful weight loss tips that can be incorporated into any diet plan. Eating healthy foods and healthy snacks can go a long way in providing a fast way to lose weight.

Eating refined foods such as white bread can trigger a series of specific events; it starts with blood sugar levels becoming elevated which then cause an increase in the insulin response, and this can lead to fat being stored more easily. However, eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, which are also typically higher in fiber, will help to improve insulin sensitivity. This helps the body use blood glucose more efficiently which lowers the glucose levels in the blood which in turn reduces fat deposits which also results in cellulite reduction. Reducing fat deposits and cellulite is certainly a lot easier when you eliminate refined food products from your diet.

Monounsaturated Fats and Belly Fat

When choosing fats, monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAS), like those found in nuts, seeds, avocados, olives, soybeans, canola and olive oils and even chocolate are some of the best choices. They also have proven health benefits, like lowering your risk for heart disease. However, monounsaturated fats are not some magic food with the ability to target belly fat. MUFAS are certainly considered healthy fats, but it is important to remember, MUFAS are still fats. And as a fat, they contain 9 calories per gram, which is more than twice the amount of calories per gram as either proteins or carbohydrates, which each have 4 calories per gram.

Green Tea Weight Loss Tea

Research has shown that drinking a green tea weight loss tea can also help speed the body's metabolism as well as burn extra fat. Simply adding green tea to your regular diet can result in additional weight loss!

Exercise for a Flat Stomach

All the sit-ups and crunches in the world are not going to flatten your abs if you are overweight. When your abdominal muscles are free from excess belly fat, exercises meant to strengthen the abs can help you appear thinner, but no amount of spot exercising is going to help you lose belly fat.

If you really want to lose weight fast, you need to eat a healthy, calorie-controlled diet and get plenty of regular exercise – about 60 minutes of moderate activity each day.

An excellent way of increasing your physical activity is by using one of the many great exercise DVD programs available. When starting out, be sure the level you choose is one that is designed for beginners. One great program to start with is Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies, this workout provides plenty of fat burning, but with Riichard Simmons' well known style of motivation and caring. It's definitely a blast from the past, but it's a lot of fun!

Another very effective weight loss tool is a mini trampoline or rebounder, research has shown that rebounding will not only increase metabolism and fat burning, but it provides a wealth of other health benefits as well. Rebounding is fun and easy and can be a great way to bounce your way to get health and a slimmer body, even while watching television!

Lose Belly Fat Fast!

The Health Risks of Belly Fat

It is important to learn how to lose belly fat fast because carrying extra pounds in your stomach area can cause serious health risks. Having excess weight in your belly is more dangerous than when there is extra fat on your hips or thighs because this visceral fat is much worse when it comes to your health than subcutaneous fat which sits just beneath your skin.

Extra weight in the stomach, or belly fat as it is commonly known, is linked with a higher risk for health problems like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome and many others. It is also associated with inflammation. A recent study published in Circulation, shows that belly fat appears to increase inflammation which is linked to a hardening of the arteries.

The Bottom Line on Belly Fat

Most scientific research suggests that following a diet program that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, low-fat dairy, seeds, lean meat, eggs, poultry and fish while alsocontrolling calories, provides the basis for a healthy and nutritious diet which is the best way to lose belly fat fast.

The only secret in losing belly fat is simply to lose weight overall with a low calorie, well balanced diet and at least one hour of exercise every day. Hi Lamme,

Thank you for this info! I take a natural supplement which increases my energy and also helps the recovery after working out. I was battling health issues and was really drained for a while. I regained my energy and joined a local gym. It is the first time I ever belonged to a gym, I used to always have active jobs in the past. It feels good to be into working out, I have been feeling better about myself. I have never been overweight before but in the last year I did notice me putting on a few extra pounds in the hips and abdomen.
