      Hello Gianella!
Great response to the word prompt, Forgiveness. It’s important to forgive our own self first, and you have explained that beautifully through your poem. Thank you for sharing the wise words.
Thank you John for sharing this in the forum.

    I've included another link below
my article last year about forgiveness too. It's another take of poem but its also worth a read.

Thank you so much Misbah! I'm glad my message has reached you. I tried my hardest emphasizing it. To make  sure everyone gets it.

Will try to work on more prompts these coming days. I'm slowly getting back on track to writing and with a fresh start.

Thank you again John for sharing my response.

    God bless you both.

      Gianella
You bring up a great point.
How can we help others if we can't help ourselves.

We need to set ourselves free by forgiving ourselves first, but it's one of the most difficult things in life to do.

This year leave the terrible moments behind you & carry with you the lessons learned.

      The old saying,
" No sense crying over spilled milk" comes to mind as I read your words.

You tell us we can't change anything that has happened & we need to move forward.

Don't worry if others cannot forgive you just yet.  Make peace with yourself.
Give yourself forgiveness & soon you will find it easier to forgive others.

No longer allow yourself to carry the burden of anger & resentment.

Choose to break free & give yourself a better year.

      You deserve to be happy.

Make the best of each moment you have left.

We can all help the world heal by being more compassionate and forgiving.

Let's have faith & trust the process.

Life will get better soon & this time of the pandemic will end.

In the meantime, let's not add struggles to anyone's life.

Lenten Season During Pandemic: Faith, Forgiveness, and Peace.

In your poem, Finding Forgiveness and Peace you tell us how refreshing ot is to see a waterfall in the summertime.
I'll have to use my imagination...we don't have any of these close.

You tell us to think about those thoughts we have bottled up.  The anger & resentment we harbor makes us raise our voices without listening to one another.

It's time to make changes. To heal, we must change our actions.
Learn to forgive other   as well as yourself & trust in him if you run out of time.

We need to find forgiveness.   Thinknof it like a layer of skin peeling off.  It's smooth beneath.
So start scratching it for it only hurts others.

Uf the past is too painful, don't dig it up. .just pile new memories on top of it.

      In time, your pain dissapears.

If you can't love and trust others, learn to love yourself.

When you feel yourself drowning with stressful thoughts pounding your head...pray to him.
He is the one we can trust.

There is still hope for better days ahead.  We will enjoy them one day soon.

This pandemic will come to an end if we are not selfish.

Lets take the precautions we need & make a difference as we find forgiveness walking and talking to him.

These are all great poems reminding us to forgive ourselves as well as others.
To live each moment and pray to God.
Trust that life will het better and have compassion for our fellow man.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article

You made me smile!  Your hugs arrived safely & I wasn't worried about catching covid through the internet.
That would be one way to infect others rather quickly....lol!  Another horror novel screaming in my brain.

      Take care gal.
