What an amazing poem you have written, Farah. It may seem simple, but there is a deeper message for us portrayed by the candle. We need to sit and contemplate what’s ahead and what our purpose is. Great work.
    Thank you Misbah, for sharing.

Thank you so much, dear John! It’s Eid today. So wishing you all a very happy Eid. I am truly happy to know the inner message in the poem is reflected well. With each passing second, we are exhausting our time in this world. Though goals are merely illusions of happiness and satisfaction, these are the driving force that makes us move forward and so we need to seek balance and enjoy each moment as we strive to achieve these goals to find the contenment that we so desire. Thank you once again, John!

Great poem on "The Flickering Candle" which manages to survive and thrive despite the storms. It more or less reflects us trying to achieve our goals, and when we have achieved them, we don't know what our next step is going to be. Life is like that.

Eid greetings to you, Farah. Hope you have an enjoyable Eid.

Thanks, Misbah, for highlighting Farah's poem.

Thank you so much, dear Surovi! I am very happy to know you liked the meaning behind it.
It’s the first Eid that I am celebrating without my son since he has gone to his dadi bari to celebrate eid with his paternal grandparents and cousins while I was stuck till 11:30 pm yesterday dealing with household matters. I plan to sleep away the day to recharge myself since my brain is giving off red alerts! Wishing you and everyone in your family a very Happy and blessed Eid as well and thank you for you kind apprrciation.
