This is a delightful poem and I found myself almost singing it as I read. Great job with this prompt response.

    Nithya...
I'll read this one as soon as I can.

Sorry, but I didn't see thus until now as I've been watching football all day.

1st games of the season here.

    Nithya...
Your work on vacation reminds me of Ron's last wish...to visit the ocean.

In your poem, "Vacation Is On-Head On to the Beach" you paint a wonderful picture of relaxing in the sun.  Just kicking back, enjoying a refreshing drink while on vacation and wstching those little hands create sandcastles.

It is so nice to go to the beach.  I think that's what everyone thinks about first when considering what to do on a vacation...there's just something about the water and breathing in fresh air.

Great write.   I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

Fantastic imagery, Nitya. The visuals - a lazy day at the beach, gentle breeze, tall glasses of lemonade and, of course, the frothy waves- make me want to head to the beach. Thanks for this beautiful poem

THanks, John, for sharing Nitya's work.

This is a great poem. The rhythm has an appropriately light feel to it that matches the subject matter and rhyme well. It paints a tempting beach picture.
