    Chitrangada
I'm so glad these word prompts inspire you.

"The Skill of Writing— Poem" tells us writers are made not born.
If you have a flair for words and curiosity with that determination to succeed, you can become a writer.

Writing is a skill that gets better with practice.   It heals and is therapeutic as well and no one forgets the thrill of receiving his first payment.

Great write.  We do get better as we learn to sharpen our words which happens with lots of practice & finding our muse.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

This is a beautiful poem about how writers become. I first started writing poetry when I was 19 as an escape and expression of my feelings.

I actually wrote my first short story in 7th grade as a writing assigment/challege.

I wrote my first essay in 6th grade. It was about Martin Luther King, Jr.

Writing has been in my soul. I do think it's something that's born in each of us. We have something to say and what we have to say oftentimes falls on deaf ears when verbalized. Writing (poetry and fiction) relieves our load and gives our readers a place to go when they want to leave this earth and see the world from beyond.

Beautiful poem, Chitrangada. You've captured the soul of a writer.

Thank you for sharing this, bhattuc.
