Oh Island, Faye, Kathleen, so predictably Johnny-on-the-Spot, with your "but Trump's" and your "whatabout Trump's".
We GOT IT, ya'll hate the man! Here's a suggestion, don't support him, don't vote for him, write a therapeutic article....
The subject, here and now, is Joe Biden.

Oh, he is disgusting but I dont hate him nor I hate his blind supporters.

But I get that's something hard to understand for partisan people.

The subject, here and now, is Joe Biden.

Btw, tell that to your friend. big_smile

Do you realize you are personally insulting anyone that supports Trump? You did... Is it really fair to become personal?  Most that converse on this forum don't find it necessary to insult others.   And in the next breath, you speak of  --  "Partisan people"    My gosh, your comments speak for themselves. In my experience, there is no communicating with you, Even when one tries to be polite and tries to open a sensible conversation, you become defensive.    Just read your comment here on this thread.   IMO, you clearly can't respect others' views.   Why so defensive?

I find this kind of trolling childish.  Yes, the subject is Joe Biden. I do feel a bit sorry for his supporters, I try to give them slack, and be polite,  but, this obsession some have with Trump is getting very old.  It really has gotten to be ridiculous.

I really think it is just better not to reply to comments that go off-subject when the diversion leads to Trump.  I find the hate some have for him unbelievable. Yet they will not even touch on the many problems we are seeing come from Biden and his administration.

Yes, my comment compared the Biden investigation to what had been done in regard to the Trump investigation.  I think the sequence of our conversation progressed on the subject of this conversation.

I was responding to her context in regard to  simply this  --- her view  ""but Trump's" and your "whatabout Trump's".

I gave a general thought in regard to her view. It does seem some here do hate the man, and certainly wouldn't vote for him.  I feel it is getting old, and many here won't even discuss Biden. Again my view.

Island: Do the same thing that they say about Biden.  They say he tells everybody to look this way not that way.  That's O.K. for them to say that about Biden.

But you can't say anything about Trump on this forum, because they only want you to look at Biden.  They don't want you to point out the hypocrisy of Trump, but they can sure point out the hypocrisy about Biden.  This forum is totally one sided.  Bash Biden and leave Trump alone..."look this way, not that way."  You will have to forgive them, because I don't think they even realize what they are saying.

The problem is that the left wants the right to accept only THEIR truth and get mad when the right denies it—or questions it.

When Hillary Clinton lost the election in 2016 how many times did we have to hear "Trump stole the election," to the point that 2 years of investigations were launched on a dossier completely made up?

Only to learn there was NEVER any Russia collusion, and that was proven, and yet there are still people on the left who believe the Russia collusion story.

BUT, for Trump to suggest HIS 2020 election was stolen? It was considered to be a ridiculous idea from a poor sport and anyone trying to make the claim was silenced.

Let's not forget that the Hunter laptop story was also quashed, and we now learn there's a ton of information here we may have wanted to know about.

The bottom line is this; Trump raised the GDP to nearly 5% when Obama could not get it past 2.1% and said "it was the new normal." The left denied that success. So did the media.

Trump took oil prices down by opening up U.S. oil and making us oil independent for once. Gas prices dropped significantly from Obama's term and no one gave Trump credit for it. Not even the media.

I could list more things, but my point is that Trump was not the savior. He was not perfect. He was not always good about the way he worded things. But to deny good policy? It never made sense to me then and it won't make sense to me now.

To NOW claim that Biden is doing a good job is ridiculous on any level and I am a bit surprised this place we have gotten to where party seems to matter over policy and where personal politics matter over what's right and good for America.

The turnaround from good economy to bad economy was almost immediate under Biden. So was inflation. So was a deepening supply chain crisis.

At the same time, it was CLEAR that Biden was not mentally or medically fit to be president when he was elected. How could the American people be comfortable putting the country in deep peril just for the sake of personal politics? And when did we arrive to be a country who does not reward success?

Like him as a person or not, Trump should have been the clear winner because his policies worked, and the media should have spent more time focusing on THAT than on the made up stories they carved out of thin air to try to make him look bad.

At the end of the day, YES. I am a republican. But I am an American first, and I want the country to succeed and I want the president to succeed no matter what party they are part of.

In the past I have been able to accept things about democrat presidents that were worthy of praise, and most Americans could too. What's lacking today? Honesty.

If anyone believes, under Biden, we are not in deep doo-doo here there is only one answer. They are either absolutely blind, or they are stupid. I know that sounds harsh. But come on...LOOK AROUND! lol

What is lacking today is the truth.  The truth is Trump tried to steal the election from Biden and the GOP hopes that fact dies on the vine.  It is business as usual with Trump even though he continues to lie.

He is now running again, even though the DOJ is getting ready to throw the book at him and his cohorts. You and his supporters will probably vote for him again, because you recognize his short comings, but you see him as the lessor of two evils.

Facts are facts. Hillary Clinton got three million more votes than Trump in 2016. In 2020 Joe Biden got seven million more votes than Trump. No one ever claimed the 2016 election was stolen. It just did not reflect the will of the American people. 2020 did.

The fact is Trump won the election.   Our Founding Fathers established the Electoral College in the Constitution.  So, Hillary was just out of luck. I think she was a very poor loser. Hillary even penned a book claiming her election was interfered with. yes, in my view she was a very poor loser.

Trump certainly did claim that the 2020 election was stolen, and many citizens support his claim to this day.

          It was.

So, you're saying he is a poor loser, right? We agree.

Just pointing out that Hillary did complain about the outcome of the election in a book. I do feel she was a poor loser in that respect. She had many complaints. I found it to be unwarranted. I would assume we will need to agree to disagree on that point.

I feel Trump was a sore loser, for much the same reason I felt Hillary was... The election was over, time to move on.   He should have quickly come to realize that his accusations could not be proven in a court of law ---  and he should have moved on, and done the right thing for America.  As should have Hillary in 2016.

In my view, he should have walked away, and consider to fight another day.  And fight with what he accomplished in his four years, not with accusations of fraud.

This is the type of mindset a real man should cherished for a life time.                                       Politics, is like a game or sports. If the referee say 'it's over' just take heart and take courage. There's another day and time.                                                    Beating about the air is acting or re-enacting Don Quinzo.

The truth is...the election was stolen from Trump and as a result, "business as usual" turned into a matter of him attempting to make his case, against all odds!

I will vote as I always have, for the person that I believe is most likely to do the work of the American people and do that work within the confines and constraints of the U.S. Constitution.

ab;  Please prove the election was stolen from Trump.  It's very easy to prove that Trump tried in many different ways to steal the election from Biden who was and is the duly elected president. In all fairness, Trump should be held accountable for what he tried to do.

Common sense leads me there, any proof has been wiped cleaner than Hillary's server. But someone may eventually come clean and spill, time will tell.

ab:  You do realize without any verifiable proof that Biden stole the election from Trump, it is just your opinion and conspiracy theory?  Your common sense is not worth a plugged nickel in a court of law.  Look how many people have been arrested and gone and are still going  to jail on Trump's behalf.  He is just like a mafia boss.  He makes himself untouchable with all his high paid lawyers.

Punxsutawney Phil Emerges From Burrow To Let Everyone Know There Are Some Documents Marked ‘Classified’ Down There

"PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA — Locals and Groundhog Day enthusiasts alike were caught off-guard today, as the eponymous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, emerged from his burrow and declared to the crowd gathered at Gobbler's Knob that there was a cache of documents marked "Classified" in his underground home.

"I know you're all here waiting to find out if I saw my shadow and if there will be six more weeks of winter and all that stuff," Phil said, "but I thought you all might want to know that there's a big stack of files and folders down there stamped ‘Classified' and ‘Top Secret' in red ink. Not sure where they came from. These are probably important, right?"

DOJ officials scrambled to retrieve the documents from Phil's burrow as word began to spread among the assembled media that yet another hidden stash of Joe Biden's classified documents had been discovered. The White House quickly issued a statement on the incident. "These documents do, in fact, belong to the President," Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. "The documents were, indeed, temporarily stuffed into the burrow of one Punxsutawney Phil by an unknown person. The documents, are, however, highly classified, therefore I am not at liberty to discuss the situation any further."

The FBI is currently conducting a search of former Vice President Mike Pence’s home in Indiana.

Pence is currently on the West Coast with his family after his daughter had a baby, according to his spokesperson. A private attorney for Pence is at the Indiana house while the search is underway, the spokesperson added.

The FBI is also expected to search Pence’s office in Washington, DC, in the coming days.

The FBI search of former Vice President Pence's Indiana home lasted five hours and resulted in one document with classified markings and six additional pages not marked classified.

"Following the discovery and disclosure of a small number of potentially classified documents that had inadvertently been transported to his home in Indiana, Vice President Pence and his legal team have fully cooperated with the appropriate authorities and agreed to a consensual search of his residence that took place today," Pence adviser Devin O'Malley told Fox News Digital.

"The Department of Justice completed a thorough and unrestricted search of five hours and removed one document with classified markings and six additional pages without such markings that were not discovered in the initial review by the vice president's counsel," O'Malley continued.

"The vice president has directed his legal team to continue its cooperation with appropriate authorities and to be fully transparent through the conclusion of this matter."
