A Department of Transportation spokesperson told FOX Business this week that the FAA is actively hiring and onboarding "air traffic controllers and safety professionals, including mechanics and others who support them." The spokesperson also reaffirmed that "the agency has retained employees who perform safety-critical functions."

It comes as part of a massive bill to advance Trump’s agenda that Republicans are seeking to pass on a party-line basis. If the tactic is successful, it would upend long-standing precedent and change the accounting process for current and future lawmakers, with major policy stakes.
Extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which Trump signed into law in 2017, would cost $4.6 trillion over a decade, according to the Congressional Budget Office, the official nonpartisan scorekeeper.
That’s under the “current law” metric that has traditionally been used, as the tax cuts are slated to expire at the end of this year. But Senate Republicans want to use a different scoring method called the “current policy” baseline, which would assume that extending tax cuts costs $0 because they’re already law.
Congressional GOP aides say the idea could have a huge impact on what they’re able to pass in the budget bill. If they use the current accounting process, they have no chance of making the 2017 tax cuts permanent, because that would require paying for it.
It’s a tacit admission that Republican leaders have no expectation of paying for the cost of their tax agenda.
“Assuming this is allowed under budget rules, this would represent a massive budget gimmick that would justify and allow trillions of dollars of new borrowing,” warned the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a Washington-based research group that advocates for lower deficits.

Note the words total Government support. Then, research what the nations offered as loans and what they offered in grants, which are not paid back. The bigger part of what Europe put in was in the shape of loans. They are to be paid back/ It is opposite in the case of the US. I think the ad is cheaper than the actual deportation effort! There was no way they could ever come close to the deportation numbers they promised, Congress hasn't given them the funds.

How many did Biden deport from the interior? I get that he put out quite a few that he caught at the border after he invited them in, but how many did he catch and deport after he told ICE to leave anyone in the interior alone?
Pretty much a false equivalence, isn't it? Give Trump the 8,000 illegal entry's per day that Biden instead of the 8,000 per MONTH that he has produced and he might deport a lot more, right?
Note how media attempts to feed up a narrative; yes, they get away with it with most. Because many that grab media fodder never look at a true full picture.
Here are the official deportation numbers under Biden:
2022: 72,177 deportations (lowest in decades)
2023: 270,000+ deportations (significant increase)
2024: 271,484 deportations (highest under Biden but still only 9% of total border encounters)
Now, if we take the 37,660 deportations from February 2025 under Trump and multiply it by 12, we get approximately 451,920 deportations in a year—far exceeding Biden’s numbers. If this trend holds, Trump would indeed be on track to surpass all recent presidents in deportations, including Obama, who was previously the highest with around 409,000 in 2012. to Plus, we may see a larger number as Homem continues to pick up speed. And yes, I agree that Kristi Noem would give Barbie a run for her money. It's so beautiful. Yikes
What stands out is the high number of criminals being deported. Reports suggest that Trump’s administration is focusing on removing gang members and violent offenders at a much faster rate. That could mean a major shift in immigration enforcement compared to Biden’s approach.

The judge has summed up Trump's position as "we don't care, we'll do what we want". The administration's lawyer is refusing to answer questions from the judge. Trump is calling him a lunatic who should be impeached. The open defiance of the judiciary and legal actions taken by the previous administration bring the country deeper into a constitutional crisis.

My opinion?
We’re in the deepest constitutional crisis since the civil war. Trump is defying federal judges. The executive is ignoring the judicial, and in turn, breaking our checks and balances.

Roberts said, "For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose."

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) introduced a resolution to impeach U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who over the weekend ordered the Trump administration to halt deportations of Venezuelans whom it said were gang members.
The move comes as President Trump is also calling for Boasberg’s impeachment, as the administration argues that his ruling, blocking Trump from invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to swiftly deport the migrants, was not lawful.

To set the story straight --- Trump did not order anyone to start an impeachment process--- he did share his view and I quote --- In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump described Boasberg as a "troublemaker and agitator" and stated, "This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!!"
However, what was done with good speed---the Trump administration has quickly taken legal steps in response to Judge James Boasberg's ruling that temporarily halted deportation flights. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed an appeal with the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, seeking to remove Judge Boasberg from the case involving the deportation of alleged Venezuelan gang members. The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 is the law the Trump administration is using in its deportation efforts. The law allows the president to deport non-citizens from countries that are considered enemy nations during times of war or national emergency. In this case, the administration has invoked the act to deport Venezuelan migrants, including members of criminal gangs, arguing that their presence poses a national security threat.
The move by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to proceed with deportations despite Judge Boasberg's ruling stems from the administration's interpretation of the law and its legal strategy. The DOJ is defending its position, asserting that the use of the Alien Enemies Act is lawful, even in the face of the judge's decision.
It is factual to say that this process is being handled through the established legal and legislative channels as Roberts spoke of after the fact.... Trump's statement reflected his personal opinion rather than a direct order, as there is no evidence that he instructed a member of Congress to introduce impeachment articles. Once again his opinion is his own, and he certainly is never shy when sharing it.
What will be interesting is to watch this mess end up before the Supreme Court, and follow the ins and outs. Bondi will take to the extra mile, if need be, in my view.

Trump admin withholds details from judge about deportation flights for Venezuelans...
Justice Department lawyers refused Tuesday to say how many Venezuelans were deported under the Alien Enemies Act, despite a federal judge’s demand for the information as part of an inquiry into whether President Donald Trump’s administration defied his orders.
A filing by Attorney General Pam Bondi and other department lawyers said "there is no justification to order the provision of additional information, and that doing so would be inappropriate" because the judge's "oral statements were not independently enforceable."
THEY ARE FLAT OUT BUCKING A JUDGE...
All of this played out even as Mr. Trump himself attacked Judge Boasberg on social media on Tuesday morning as “a troublemaker and agitator,” and called for his impeachment.
This administration does not have the legal authority to ignore a federal judge because they think he’s wrong. They must comply with court orders and then file appeals in the hopes of having them overturned. Higher courts can overrule a Federal Judge, but until they do, the ruling stands.
It's why federal judges require Senate confirmation.
