A ? about Glen Beck...

  1. TMMason profile image63
    TMMasonposted 7 years ago

This is not a bash Beck thread, nor is it a rant about Beck thread.

This thread has only one intent.

And that is prove what Beck says, is wrong.

The FACTS and QUOTES he uses on his shows.

I hear alot of people on here complaining and bitching that Beck is this, or Beck is that... but I have never seen one person post anything to dis-credit the veracity of the facts and quotes, relationships and dealings, he shows on his show.

So... and I know this is hard for all the leant leftist Socailist liberals and others, but I simply want someone to produce one fact that Beck has put on his show that was incorrect regarding Obama, Socailism, Communism, etc.

One fact... just show me one thing he, Beck, has said Obama and his Czars, administration and those around him, have said or did, that is not true.

I haven't seen his lil red Obama phone ring yet to correct any... and I am sure that would have made the news on every station.

    So...

you know... I think those who do what they do will turn this thread into a bash Beck thread... and ignore the fact that his FACTS, his quotes used and the material he presents... are correct.

So lets see how long it takes...

IF YOU MISSED BECK on Fox today, ( 6/21/10 ) you missed an expose of what the Obama moratorium is all but.
There is something drastically wrong and the public needs to become aware of what the oil  MORATORIUM  means.

Just as people should become aware of what the Gulf oil disaster means.

Daniel I honestly don't think that people who live far away from the beautiful Gulf realize the full impact of the oil spill. We're about 2.5 hours away, and I've spoken with several folks who live on the Gulf. They're devastated. Their way of life has been eradicated in one fell swoop. And it's not just the humans - look at the poor creatures.

We're going to the Gulf next month on vacation, so I'll get an eyewitness experience then.

I am certainly not anti beck.  I group him among all the others in business to make themselves wealthy.

But there certainly was some hiprcracy in his words on healthcare.  First bashing the system...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX1rLv_hNeI

Then later saying how great health care is in the United States already.  And it is great... for guys who are millionaires with access to the best care.

So yes Beck is far from perfect.

I do agree with his general views... but nobody is perfect.  And I am very much against nearly everything that comes out of the mouth of Obama as I see him as a deceptive fraud.

    1. TMMason profile image63
TMMasonposted 7 years agoin reply to this

Actually Mike many in the US do the same... we know our Health-care system was not perfect... but we also know you don't tear it all apart to rebuild it into something else.

America's health care system was the best in the world, regardless of it's flaws. Now... it will be canada or worse England.

      We are in trouble, now.

    You're not getting it!
When Beck was on CNN, it was the worst.
He moves to Fox and it becomes the best.

Politics, or principles??? geeeeeeeeeeee. Let's think......Hate it, then Love it,, all in the blink of a paycheck. Can you say "Opinions for sale"?

    Beck's LIES:

"Obama has a deep-seated hatred of white people"...oh really? He hates his mother and grandparents?

What pisses me off the most was what he did to Van Jones....because Beck is such a vengeful prick.

"Beck has said or implied that Van went to prison for taking part in the Rodney King riots.

    No Criminal Convictions

Van has never served time in any prison. He has never been convicted of any crime. And just to be clear: Van was not even in Los Angeles during those tumultuous days.

    Not a Mysterious 'Czar"

Beck has said repeatedly that Van is some kind of a mysterious "czar," accountable to no one but the President. A simple Internet search shows that this claim is false. A March 10, 2009, press release announced that Van was hired by the Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality - to work on her staff as a "special advisor."

Beck has implied on two occasions that Van Jones and other Obama appointees were not vetted by the FBI. False. I was interviewed in my own office by an FBI agent, dutifully vetting Van. Yet another fabrication on the part of Mr. Beck.

Beck also claims that Van has somehow gained control over $500 million in Green Jobs Act funding and can hand out millions of dollars at his whim. Again, that is patently ridiculous.

No Authority to Hand out Billions

Beck repeatedly and mistakenly asserts that Van is presently a communist.

((*ahhh, Red-Baiting! The favorite sport of rabid righty's*))

Once again, this charge is easily refuted - most obviously by the pro-business, market-based ideas Van has promoted for years, including in his best-selling book, The Green Collar Economy. Van's book is a veritable song of praise to capitalism, especially the socially responsible and eco-friendly kind.

Van said: "We are not promoting welfare. We are promoting work. ... We are not expanding entitlements. We are expanding enterprise and investment. ... We are not trying to redistribute existing wealth. We are trying to reinvent an existing sector, so that we can create NEW wealth - by unleashing innovation and entrepreneurship. This should be common ground."

He has been preaching that gospel, in various forms, for years and years. Van Jones is the nation's "Green" Jack Kemp -- using business-based solutions to attack poverty.

It turns out that Beck is quoting (out of context) an article that in fact makes the OPPOSITE point.

The 2005 profile that Beck is flogging actually makes it crystal clear -- even in the headline -- that Jones has "renounced" his earlier views, matured and moved on. Van's transformation is the entire point of the piece, and it is impossible that Beck does not know this."--Eva Paterson

    #######

No, Beck knows he is a charlatan. He wanted to destroy Jones because Jones said people should Boycott Beck after Beck called president Obama a racist. He's a vengeful dry-drunk imo. He needs go get drunk, so maybe his humanity will return to him. A real humanity, not one that needs a vial of fake tears to drama queen every issue.

Hey Beckles....why no deep investigation on Jeff Perry, child molestor enabler tea-party member?
What, letting your subordinate police officer disrobe and fondle teenage girls is not enough of an issue for you? When the guy wants to run for state rep? You don't even have to lie about him....the facts are bad enough.

Oh and the best one yet....now he's trying to pin 9/11 on liberals.....think he's on Cheney's *&^% much?

    Beck=CIA psy-op agent. IMO

Love, If you understood television you would know why Beck is better on FOX than CNN, ratings. It has to do with the audience,  CNN  atracts a more liberal audience. Didn't they get rid of Lou Dobbs.

Didn't Van admit to being a Communist in a speech he gave. If you have any money, he wantts it for the government, of course.

Your claim that Van Jones IS a communist is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. The portion of the video patched together by Glenn Beck in which Jones acknowledged his involvement or belief in communism dated back to 1992 when he was 24 years ago and concerned about problems of minorities and the poor. Smearing people with distortions of ancient history is the technique developed by none other than Joe McCarthy, a scourge on our country's history.

Here is a more balanced, factual view of who Van Jones is

Absolute rubbish so far off the fringe that it really doesn't deserve a reply. Obama is a pragmatic centrist Democrat. He doesn't have a socialist bone in his body. He does share the concern of most sane Americans over environmental issues. This has nothing to do with socialism.

Obama does hate white people... he states it clearly in his book. lolll That is just stupid to deny... but so isnt the van jones is a commie thing. He gladly states he is.

    Your lost lvchrs.

"Beck has said or implied that Van went to prison for taking part in the Rodney King riots."

Implied huh?.. Beck can imply anything he wants... but I don't recall him stating van jones was a convict.

Van jones was a Czar... your denying that... more stupidity. And I have heard what Van Jones had to say about the green movement and about stolen land and revolution. Beck did nothing to Van Jones... Van Jones did that to himself.

Seems to me it simply shows you that America does not want blatant commies in our Govt.

I know you don't like that, but too bad. The whole problem with you as to beck is you would rather no one heard the words spoken by the commies and socailists themselves.

Hell, no.  He's probably just like that other fact-challenged bully, Sean Hannity.

"In an interiew with the Huffington Post, former Minnesota Governor and former Navy SEAL Jesse Ventura issued a waterboarding challenge to the never-served  Sean Hannity. Hannity, you may recall, offered to undergo "dunking," which is how he publicly described  waterboarding, despite turning tail and clamming up when MSNBC's Keith Olbermann offered  to donate $1,000 to charity for every second Hannity could endure it. (Olbermann has since withdrawn  the offer, calling it unnecessary.) Ventura, however, picked up the challenge, telling Huffington Post, ""I'll bet [Hannity] a thousand bucks that I can get him to say 'Barack Obama is the greatest president' -- if I get him to say it, he'll give the thousand to charity and if I can't, I'll give the money to charity." Hannity, showing just what kind of class act he is(n't), responded by smearing Ventura.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Hannity responded by saying, "The truth is, Jesse has become a dull guest who's trying to recapture his former political glory and sell his recently released paperback,'' says Hannity, calling Ventura a "great American,'' thanking him for his service as a SEAL and wishing him well in retirement. "Clearly Jesse swallowed too much water while surfing, which is how he now spends his time." (H/T TV Newser)

Funny, that's not how Hannity acted when he was sitting face to face with Ventura."

            From Wikipedia
            Ambassador to Britain

In 1938, Roosevelt appointed Kennedy as the United States Ambassador to the Court of St. James's (the United Kingdom) in London. Kennedy hugely enjoyed his leadership position in London high society, which stood in stark contrast to his relative outsider status in Boston. His daughter Kathleen married the heir to the Duke of Devonshire, the head of one of England's grandest aristocratic families. Kennedy rejected the warnings of the Member of Parliament Winston Churchill that any compromise with Nazi Germany was impossible. Instead, Kennedy supported Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's apparent policy of appeasement in order to stave off a second World War that would be a more horrible "armageddon" than the first. Throughout 1938, while the Nazi persecution of the Jews in Germany and Austria intensified, Kennedy attempted to arrange a meeting with Adolf Hitler.[13] Shortly before the Nazi aerial bombing of British cities began in September 1940, Kennedy once again sought a personal meeting with Hitler, again without the approval of the Department of State, "to bring about a better understanding between the United States and Germany."[14] Kennedy also had personal reasons for wanting to avoid war: "He feared for the lives of his three eldest sons, Joe, Jack and Bobby, all of whom were or soon would be eligible to serve."[15]

Kennedy also argued strongly against giving military and economic aid to the United Kingdom.

"Democracy is finished in England. It may be here," stated Ambassador Kennedy in the Boston Sunday Globe of November 10, 1940. While bombs fell daily on Great Britain, Nazi German troops overran Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France, Ambassador Kennedy unambiguously and repeatedly stated his belief that this War was not about saving democracy from National Socialism (Nazism) or from Fascism. In the now-notorious, long, rambling interview with two newspaper journalists, Louis M. Lyons, of the Boston Globe, and Ralph Coghlan, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Kennedy opined:

"It's all a question of what we do with the next six months. The whole reason for aiding England is to give us time." ... "As long as she is in there, we have time to prepare. It isn't that [Britain is] fighting for democracy. That's the bunk. She's fighting for self-preservation, just as we will if it comes to us... I know more about the European situation than anybody else, and it's up to me to see that the country gets it,"[16]

In British government circles during the Blitz, Ambassador Kennedy was widely disparaged as a defeatist. He fled to the countryside during the bombings of London by German aircraft.

When the American public and Roosevelt Administration officials read his quotes on democracy being "finished", and his belief that the Battle of Britain wasn't about "fighting for democracy," all of it being just "bunk", they realized that Ambassador Kennedy could not be trusted to represent the United States. In the face of national public outcry, and pressure from the Roosevelt Department of State, which no longer wanted him, Kennedy submitted his resignation later on in November 1940.

Throughout the rest of the war, relations between Kennedy and the Roosevelt Administration remained tense (especially when Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., vocally opposed President Roosevelt's nomination for a third term, which began in 1941). Having effectively removed himself from the national stage, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., sat out World War II on the sidelines. Kennedy did however stay active in the smaller venues of rallying Irish-American and Roman Catholic Democrats to vote for Roosevelt's re-election for a fourth term in 1944. Former Ambassador Kennedy claimed to be eager to help the war effort, but as a result of his previous gaffes, he was neither trusted nor invited to do so.[17]

Due to his philanthropy and a close friendship with Francis Spellman, Cardinal Archbishop of New York, during this time, Joseph Kennedy was invested as a knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, an honor which at that time he shared with just a few dozen Americans.

With his own ambitions to achieve the White House in self-inflicted destruction, Joseph Kennedy held out great hope for his eldest son, Joseph Kennedy, Jr., to seek the Presidency. However, Joseph Kennedy, Jr., who had become a U.S. Navy bomber pilot, was killed over the English Channel while undertaking Operation Aphrodite, a high-risk, new way to use heavy bombers to strike German missile sites in France, in 1944. His bomber accidentally detonated early, before Kennedy could bail out. After grieving over his dead son, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., then turned his attention to grooming his second son, John F. Kennedy, for a run for the Presidency. After serving as a member of the House of Representatives, and then a U.S. Senator, the younger Kennedy entered the Presidential election in 1960, and won it.

Hey man... Kennedy's father was a supporter of the NAZIs... even the history channel knows that. It is quite common knowledge today...

"set a match to the fuse of the world."

During May of 1938, Kennedy engaged in extensive discussions with the new German Ambassador to the Court of St. James's, Herbert von Dirksen. In the midst of these conversations (held without approval from the U.S. State Department), Kennedy advised von Dirksen that President Roosevelt was the victim of "Jewish influence" and was poorly informed as to the philosophy, ambitions and ideals of Hitler's regime. (The Nazi ambassador subsequently told his bosses that Kennedy was "Germany's best friend" in London.)

Columnists back in the states condemned Kennedy's fraternizing. Kennedy later claimed that 75% of the attacks made on him during his Ambassadorship emanated from "a number of Jewish publishers and writers. ... Some of them in their zeal did not hesitate to resort to slander and falsehood to achieve their aims." He told his eldest son, Joe Jr., that he disliked having to put up with "Jewish columnists" who criticized him with no good reason.

Like his father, Joe Jr. admired Adolf Hitler. Young Joe had come away impressed by Nazi rhetoric after traveling in Germany as a student in 1934. Writing at the time, Joe applauded Hitler's insight in realizing the German people's "need of a common enemy, someone of whom to make the goat. Someone, by whose riddance the Germans would feel they had cast out the cause of their predicament. It was excellent psychology, and it was too bad that it had to be done to the Jews. The dislike of the Jews, however, was well-founded. They were at the heads of all big business, in law etc. It is all to their credit for them to get so far, but their methods had been quite unscrupulous ... the lawyers and prominent judges were Jews, and if you had a case against a Jew, you were nearly always sure to lose it. ... As far as the brutality is concerned, it must have been necessary to use some ... ."

Well, obviously Joe Jr. changed his mind as he was killed fighting them... The view of the Nazi's in 1934 was vastly different by the time the war began. And yes, Joe Sr. was anti-semitic and racist, as many of his time were. Obviously, his children disagreed.

I still stand by the statement that many business men in the 1930s thought dealing with the Nazis would be good for business.

And Nazi's were not socialists or leftists. You can't blame every bad thing that has ever happened in the world on the left.  No matter how hard you want to believe it. There were fanatics and monsters on all sides of the political spectrum.

Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, commonly calle, NSDAP or the Nazi Party, Nationalsozialismus - "National Socialism"

              Yeah right... Leftists.

I will explain it agin... we are American... our right... literally means right.

Not center left, nor Socailism, Communism, nor Progressivism, nor does it mean that we will concede to you the ground you want when you tell us the Left is Right.

              That would be Europe.

There is a major difference between us... that all you foriegners want to ignore.

When Americans discuss the "left"... we mean the "left".

Not the right wing of the left.

                  Anti-semitism... the left's favorite pastime.

Along with other factors including his frienfship and desire to assist the Germans. It is pretty well known these days that Franco's nuetral spain was anything but... they had passed info to Germany about Britain and even had a compiled list of jews to watch, and had supplied it to the nazis.

Buddies help each other... anti-semites have a way of flocking together.

Imagine that... Germany, Palistine, Turkey (the ottoman empire), Italy, Japan, all together in the deed. And I would not even consider Japan together in the deed... the slautering the Jews thing was all European...

Japan didn't set out to slaughter the Jews. SO...

                  The plot thinkens.

You know most apologists gloss over the fact that anti-semitism was rampant in Europe throughout the mid ages and into the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Germany was nothing more than a boiling point, it did what most of Europe had longed to do for centuries, "Deal with the Jewish problem".

Amazing how they all flee from the accusation these days and try to point to the right... right across the ocean and at the American right. lolll

Thier, Europe's, hate got the best of them and for the umpteenth time in history the European continent went up in flames.

Thats what the LEFTS... RIGHT wing did.

America simply had to stop you all's fanaticism... and clean up your messes, while protecting the jews as best we could in the political climates of Europe... alot of Europe blamed the Jews for what happened.

Sad... so sad that a people could let themselve spiral into such hateful actions.

So sad... that the world... including the US, could turn a blind eye to it... even as we do today.

Just the visceral reactions to Israel defending itself I have heard in these forums, leads me to believe that Europe and the left would willingly turn thier eyes again.

                  The denial is mind-boggling.

And yes I am aware that most all, (if not all), Socailist movements and revolutionary takeovers end with a dictator... Fascist or other-wise.

It is funny how the tactics of the Limbutts, Beckies and Hannites closely resemble those of the greatest propogandists the world has ever seen yet they rail on against the truth as if it was a fabrication.

"If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth".  ~ Joseph Goebbels

“The great masses of people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one. Especially if it is repeated over and over”
      ~ (Adolph Hitler)

But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.

No cop out. Beck calls Jones a black nationalist commie.....said he had no concern for the environment, only reparations. Can he prove that? NO. Does he say it anyway? Why yes he does.

Here's some more from a blogger:

He said that no other President had never been sworn into office without a Bible. He said he 'checked'.
He either did not check or checked up his arsegraped butt because he's lying. John Qunicy Adams used a law book. Franklin Pierce didn't even swear. He affirmed. Teddy Roosevelt used no Bible. Several Presidents kissed a Bible but did not swear on one.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con…
    http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/pihtml/pinot…

    Beck lie.

Glenn Beck lied when he said recently that $1.4 million of stimulus momey was used to repair a door at Dyess AFB. The doors repaired were aircraft hangar doors and the cost was not $1.4 million.
The cost was $246000 out of $1.4 million in repairs funding.

    Beck lie.

Of course, we all know about him being called out as a liar by Whoopi and Barbara Walters.

I only did a few minutes' reserach, as I said...but it's quite clear that Beck is exposed as a liar.

My favourite though, is Beck going on about how compassionate he'd become after being failed by the expensive private health system last year when he got his dangling arsegrapes removed, said he was all suicidal...boo hoo...and only a couple of weeks ago screamed like an effete banshee at a woman on his radio show.

Edit: I was having such fun looking at what a liar Glenn Beck is I thought I'd find some more:

In June Beck lied when he said that the US was the ONLY country that had a natural birthright provision. Here is the list of other countries that do:
    http://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/…

    Ooopsie doodle, Beck lie.

Glenn Beck lied when he said that the director of White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, "has proposed forcing abortions and putting sterilants in the drinking water to control population."
This one is so good I'll just give you the link:
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/…

Hey, if I find any more I'll let you know. I'll bet there are PLENTY. I don't give a flatflyingf*ck if the guy is passionate, he has a responsibility to check facts and make sure that the information he is disseminating is not poisoning people's minds. If you support Bush, you're a Nazi! Na nee na nee booboo.

But, the Bushbo's WERE being sued by Holocaust survivors...

Published on Saturday, September 25, 2004 by the Guardian/UK:

"George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.

The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.

His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave laborers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.

The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy."

OOOOOOOOO--I've been accused of that for denouncing the "war" in Iraq....and I did nothing more than speak against it!!!

Let's see...get rich supporting Nazi's or speak out against an illegal invasion....hmmmmm who is the worse? According to Beckles, I am!!

Beck and Hannity construe information that they doctor and then call facts as a way of spreading anger, doubt and division. The result is fear. Fear causes irrational thought and behavior, casts doubt anything not understood, and often results in an attitude of those involved a need to "destroy" or "silence" or do away with.

If any of the devout Christians here really believe their religion, then it says clearly in the Bible that the gospel is not a gospel of fear, or any of the above mentioned things. It's supposed to be a gospel of love. So where is the love in either of them, people like them, or such messages?

As a result the evidence is overwhelming that there is little or no good in what they construe, and there is little Christianity in them, based on the definition of the Bible.

I am just goping to sit here and scratch my head in awe of how lost that statement is.

No, TM, you said that "socialist movements and revolutionary takeovers end with a dictator."

The American War for Independence was a revolutionary takeover, no question. That's one reason lots of people call it "the Revolution."

Did it end in a dictator? Nope. But it sure could have, if G. Washington had been a man of lesser integrity.

I think Glen Beck is just one more person with an oppinion and a microphone. Personnaly  , I like the guy , he thinks at least, and with his own mind. Most people today on both sides of the aisle fall for the usual political correctness . Was it Ben Franlin  who said "I would rather live with too many news papers and an out of control government than not enough news papers and an out of control government" I know this isn't exactly quoted but you get the messege.  My point is this, we now live in a culture where the media is  24/ 7  in your face.
I would advise anyone to take all media with a grain of salt, be informed , be active politically, by this I mean vote! Half of America is apathetic or complacent and the other half needs to use more common sense. Demand more of our supposed "Leaders".

And no one says you have to believe Beck about anything.

I would think your an idiot if you did.

But you also shouldn't just believe anything MSNBC says, or the Huffington Post, ABC, NBC, FOX news, or any other source of media either.

You should look into it... check the source for yourself.

And all the things he says, pan out.

He can be an idiot, as I said, it doesn't change the truth of the quotes and actions of those he talks about.

It doesn't change the truth about the progressive party and movement in this country and thier desire to abolish the constitution and destroy the U.S..

Those facts can all be independently varified by listening to the progressives themselves.

I believe this sums it up nicely UW...

Far from what reviewers called a narrative of a man stuck between his white and black ancestry, the plot is a linear, unbending rejection of Obama’s white heritage, culminating in his joyous wedding of Michelle at Wright’s hands where the person inspiring the most pride in Barack Obama is his brother Roy, for having turned Muslim teetotaler, and turned Afrocentric.

This final parallel between Roy Obama and Hussein Obama, is telling. An almost intuitive literary device to close Baracks journey from insensitive White America, to loving, flourishing, and dynamic Black America.

So here are the quotes. Viewers discretion is advised. Doubts about Obama’s affinity for Wright’s radicalism, or Black Nationalism won’t linger. The story is unapologetic, and Obama offers no conclusions or resolutions. Just goes from learning about the limits of his white grandparents and fetishistic mother, to the seemingly borderless potential of his newfound life as an African-American.

Page numbers are those of my electronic version, and do not apply to other versions.

            Welcome to Post-Racial America.

            Quote here and online...

"The emotions between the races could never be pure; even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."

"What I heard from my mother that day, speaking about my father, was something that I suspect most Americans will never hear from the lips of those of another race, and so cannot be expected to believe might exist between black and white: the love of someone who knows your life in the round, a love that will survive disappointment."

"It was obvious that certain whites could be exempted from the general category of our distrust: Ray was always telling me how cool my grandparents were. The term white was simply a shorthand for him, I decided, a tag for what my mother would call a bigot. And although I recognized the risks in his terminology-how easy it was to fall into the same sloppy thinking that my basketball coach had displayed (“There are white folks, and then there are ignorant motherfuckers like you,” I had finally told the coach before walking off the court that day)-Ray assured me that we would never talk about whites as whites in front of whites without knowing exactly what we were doing. Without knowing that there might be a price to pay."

            http://www.stop-obama.org/?p=123

And you expect us to believe he sat in Wright's church for twenty years and doesn't feel the same hatred of white people as Wright, his mentor, his family. Right... that is rich.

Many more quotes in the book then even on the site. Huh... the man does not like white people. It is just a fact.

          11. Uninvited Writer profile image82
            Uninvited Writerposted 7 years ago

What is the context of these quotes?

It all seems to be repeating what Ray told him, he does not say he agrees with what he said.

Neither you nor I knows exactly what it is like being a child of mixed race, especially in the 60s and 70s. I will not accept that he hates while people, you can say it until you are blue in the face.

If Obama is a secret Muslim like you say, how can you say he believed anything the pastor of a Christian church said?

I do... I read his book. And you do know that Jeriimiah Wright is an apostate from Islam?... probrably not. His view of Christians and Whites is the same as Obama's.

I suggest you read his book also UW.

oh and then there was this...

Obama -"Typical White" Reacts Badly To Blacks
Obama was right about one thing - his attempt to end this conversation about race as quickly as possible was a good idea.

Instead, Mr. Smooth Talker managed to brand all white people as racists and implicitly equate them with Jeremiah Wright.  My goodness - tomorrow, he will be denouncing our cats and dogs.  Here we go:

610 WIP host Angelo Cataldi asked Obama about his Tuesday morning speech on race at the National Constitution Center in which he referenced his own white grandmother and her prejudice. Obama told Cataldi that "The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know (pause) there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."

"[S]omebody on the street that she doesn't know"?  Kidding?  That special "somebody" was a black man in the original telling.  So where are we - the "typical" white person reacts the wrong way when they see a black person on the street?  Let's flash back to Obama's comment about this sort of thing from his own speech:

              http://justoneminute.typepad.com/main/2 … pical.html

              Yes... he love us.

I have not met but a few people who don't have some type of predjudice or distortion about the other race.  The complexity of explaining these differences is daunting at best.  Unfortunately some people look at the world as an all or nothing proposition and cannot distinguish between the reality of the situation and the image of the situation.

Where do you fall in this scenario?  Is it your contention that Obama is a closeted racist and that he has pulled the wool over everybodies eyes awaiting a time when he can spring his "Master Plan" of overthrowing "White America" or at the very least furthering along that cause?

I challenge you to explain the divide without offending some group that see it differently.  You may find this difficult in a whole new capacity that you haven't looked at it before.

I'm not surprised. The left still resorts to this tactic when they can't support their argument with logical discourse. It's symptomatic of the left, like Obama will use the oil spill to pass carbon cap and trade. One has nothing to do with the other but he will make the connection to evil oil, the oil that contributed most to Obama, the oil that the USA lent 2 billion dollars to (Petrobras) on Tony Podesta's recommendation, the oil George Soros has invested heavily in as well as the carbon trading company based in Chicago that Obama helped set up.

It's all quite disgusting, but worse is how the left  justifies it and when they can't they of course change the debate to race.

Glenn Beck is a douche bag, Hitler himself could not have aborted a finer specimen of Botched eugenics than glenn beck. But here's why, it isn't because he is wrong about what he reports, it's that he doesn't report it fairly on both sides. He reports nothing of the fact that much of the same stuff he bashes with Obama is just a continuation of Bush's previous policies and shady shinanigans. The idea that he gives 2 shits about you or me is just silly at best, he is a mouth piece nothing more, another member of the acceptable mainstream media spouting crap for you to listen to, to distract you from the fact that Both Parties in this nation are out to rob you blind and see you in the gutter.
