   I appreciate the opportunity to post on this often debated topic. I would say that the common phrase 'Different strokes for different folks' is paramount here.
   
   Each person will have their own ideas and opinions when it comes to any sex-related topic. I bet it would be safe to assume that we can all agree to disagree on certain things.

   Some people accept it as a normal thing to do in the bedroom, others, like my husband, don't like it, and I think that is ok too.  As far as sex goes, nobody should do anything that is distastfull to them, but on the flip side, just because someone doesn't feel ok with it, it is not his place to impose his feelings on others.

      Actually, if you go back to the initial question, I was asking am I alone in being repulsed by the practice of oral sex. You misunderstand my intent slightly...I wasnt trying to "convert" anyone, just try to give rational, thought-out reasons for why I feel the way that I do...Trying to "convert" someone?  If I had THAT ability, I would be able to convert people from smoking, doing drugs, or criminal activity.  I learned a long time ago that emotions and base desires will always trump reason to the unenlightened mind.

    Dogs do more than lick themselves.
    
    I was outside a friend's house when three dogs, perhaps a group of strays, trotted by.  They stopped on my friend's lawn and they began having a doggie threesome...with the smallest of them demanding to be "gone down on" by the largest...I had never known that dogs perform oral acts on one another....not sniffing or dealing with butts, but the other end.
    
    And then there are the Bonobo Chimpanzees....

    I really do not think that the "act" itself has as much baring on the morality of sex so much as the type of relationship you have with the person.  Oral is just one stop on the journey...but man what a fund stop it is.
    
    However, everyone is entitled to their beliefs and their likes and dislikes and the author of this question is no more wrong with his dis-taste (pun intended hehe) for oral than others of us are for liking it.  Come on people, being tolerant and progressive is not just advocating the most liberal view of any topic..

    I have a question for you beyond Politics.
    
    Have you ever lived on a farm? Or have Pets? Been to the zoo?
    Oral sex is not just a human thing. It is very obvious in the animal world, as is rampant homosexual behavior and even incest.
    All you have to do is have more than one dog or cat of both sexes, and the next thing you know you have 16 dogs and 32 cats.
    (I used to live on a farm)
    
    I think the question would be is if you have ever received it?
    And, what it is about it that you find repulsive? I would agree that there is certainly a few things about it that I would never do, but to say that all of it is bad, would not be truthful. If it has anything to with the butt, forget about it!
    
    I don't want to be gross, so we'll leave other stuff that I don't like about it. But, just say BJ and my ears perk up!

    A man that is repulsed by oral sex? Have you had a bad experience, perhaps teeth marks or maybe a not so fresh female?
    If you know what you're doing and do it correctly or are receiving it from someone who is an over achiever in that area, oral sex can be better than sex-it's a sensual- charismatic- intoxicating- levitating experience.

    Regular sex is stupid. Oral sex is stupid. That's why they match up.
    
    If you want to talk about seeing past your own here and now emotions and pleasures, you realise even regular sex is both stupid and kinda icky. If your not looking past your own emotions on regular sex, your seeing it as some kind of smart, but then you do look past your emotions on oral sex. Your simply being uneven in looking past your emotions.
    
    But granted alot of people don't look past their emotions and probably haven't self reflected about oral sex (or regular sex), they just do it.
