    Can salvation be bought?

Of course it can, just not with gold. Religion suggests faith and submission. I like to believe St. Peter will also accept other forms of payment: namely love, compassion, humanity and basically any kind of good deed.

In ancient times the Catholic Church sold "indulgences" which amounted to attempting to buy salvation. Here comes that very unpopular phrase--according to Scripture, the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ.

Yes. If you feed the hungry in Darfur or the flood affected in Pakistan. There are countless other instances, look, around you and you will find them.

If your talking about salvation of your soul, I believe not, It's a free gift from God for the asking.

No way. It can only come from God.It is just like love which cannot be bought. The process of sin within the spiritual body is a spiritual matter,...money can only sit back and look.

I guess it is a free gift as well which is acquired through faith and not through materialistic things

No,salvation of soul can't be bought.God sent his only beloved son Son[Jesus Christ to die for our sin, which is the free gift from God to mankind. No man can die for his enemies,we can only lay down our life for someone we love.

"NO!" Salvation can never be bought not for any price. Only accepting Jesus as the one true son of God, having him absolve you of your sins and believing in him can you receive salvation, no other way.

God's infinite love for us is unconditional.  Any one who suggests that God's infinite love alone cannot save all of us does not know the power and the grandness of God. They also include organized religions

Religions have conditions but God saving power does not.
God does not need any religious conditions to save you.

As usual God's Goodness and capability is too good for most to believe.

Jesus bought and paid for our salvation when He laid down His life at Calvary. By repenting of our sins and placing our faith and trust in Him, we can freely accept the gift of God which is eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Jesus paid for it with His death and resurrection. We don't need to buy/earn it, just accept the free gift and allow Him to be Lord of our lives
