   How do you know what the will of God really is?
   
   We were all discussing an issue one day. My friend said, 'perhaps if it is the will of God, then it should be.' Then as quickly as he said that he followed it with, 'But my question is, how do we really know what the will of God is?' Do you subscribe, for instance,  to the belief that when someone becomes ill and dies from the illness, it is God's Will?' Your thoughts, please.

   I wish I had more time but the bottom line is we have a fist thundering at Mt. Sinai
   stating the soul that sinneth shall surely die. Next we Rom 3;23 saying all have sinned and come short. Next we have Jesus saying "I come that ye might have life and have it more abundantly".
   
   Looking further we find John saying I wish in above all things that ye prosper and be in good health. Also we hear the Lord saying he will with hold no good thing from us. Now we got to go back how it all started and why we are here, Satan did not challenge God on his power but on his justice.
   
   There is a mad devil loose who is the God of this world and Ezekiel refers to him as having a kingdom here at one time. God still has a trace of Satan's revolt in heaven and in Earth and he wants us to know how damaging sin is.
   
   God is letting Satan have free reign to wreck havoc in the Earth and since he is the prince and power of the air, God is getting blamed on things especially storms that are surmised by our enemy. One day God will make a new heaven and a new earth and we his family will enjoy him as our God who is loving kind and perfect love.

   There is no way of knowing God's will because it is not our business to know. The only business we as humans need to know is our own purpose.

   Greetings Everyone!  Great question.  We know God's will through having a constant and growing relationship with God.  This is made easier by allowing the Holy Ghost preeminence in your life.  As a side note:  It is a LEARNING experience.  Learning how the Holy Ghost speaks to you.  In a song, scripture, or still small voice.  He speaks in order to guide you. The scripture says that the Holy Ghost will lead and guide us into ALL truth.  Knowing God's will can be as simple as asking God the question?  Should I accept this job?  With that question you set in motion the answer.  See, in order to have a relationship with anyone, there has to be "communication."  I asked the question,  Lord, is this the man I'm suppose to marry?  I don't want to make a mistake.  Later that evening I went to Church, was walking down the aisle while the Preacher was preaching.  He stopped preaching and he said "God said that is the husband that He gave you!"  Needless to say, the congregation looked and the weight of the question left.  He also reveals His will in some form of confirmation.  A stranger in Walmart, Billboard, Scripture, a commercial the Holy Spirit is not limited to answer us within the boundaries that we have set up around us.

      Great answer. God's will is always there, we must learn how to recognize it, and not go against it. You must be very perceptive of  your surroundings and situations at all times.

   You do not know what the will of God really is. It is up to what you believe in and what you want to see.

      We were born in order to die. That's God's Will. But if we are ill because of our own abuse and vices, that's not the will of God. We are given wisdom to know right from wrong. If we let sickness stay in our bodies without seeing doctor, we die.

   You will know God's will if you continually pray about it. Human beings think of death totally different than God thinks of death. For God it is not a bad thing. It is the end of the physical life he has given you and he also knows what great things lie ahead for you in paradise. God's will, Will always be done.

   I believe that when we align our lives with what the word of God says his will is revealed to us. Sometimes it is just to live our lives to the fullest, working hard loving people and doing the right thing. Its only when we try and live without Him that moves us away from the direction he intended for us. His will for each one of us is different for each individual but is based on the same principles of his awesome words of wisdom. He loves us all and wants us to be happy and live for His Glory.

   By living from day to day, each of us will find out just what the will of God is about. All we may do as believers is to follow in the way of Christ, provided by Him, and in faith, receive our just rewards in the heavenly light upon our passing.

   I am by no means an authority on this. However, I believe as you become more Christ-like, God's will becomes more clear or less ambiguous (if you will). Therefore, I think the key and the most difficult outcome to reach is to become more Christ-like before you pass. I did say before you pass; because I believe passing is part of this process also. Perhaps when we pass we will indeed grow significantly in terms of knowing His will or if you will, becoming more Christ-like or, in my case (comatose state), able to "hear"/listen to Him ("Be still and listen").
   Now of course this is simple to say yet most difficult to accomplish. By no means am I an expert on this; however, I was blessed with being comatose for a month and that is when I felt very close to God and that is why I consume His flesh and drink His blood whenever opportunity permits...

    If God is truly all powerful all knowing and everywhere, using absolute terms, then everything is God's will and there is no freewill.  Best wishes.

    I personally think that God's will, is actually a way to positive thinking, we accept things, every outcome after making whole heart-ed efforts, as this is the only positive option left in case of a set back.
    
    When we believe in God's will we work for the sake of working, without actually caring for results.
    
    Nobody wants to loose or get defeated in life, yet in every game there can be only one winner while all others are loosers. God will for me denotes having positive attitude in life and accepting the real facts.
