Nobody made the world. It wasn't a 'person' or a 'being' or even a 'divine power'.
The world was made by natural processes over billions of years.
Why? is a very unanswerable question. Why are there stars? Why are there planets? Why is there a universe? Why are we here?
Because we are part of the natural universe, that's why.
Your assumption was that there was a maker to the universe.
The answer is simple depending on your religious beliefs - either there was a maker or there wasn't. If you follow religious precepts then you'll say the god of your choice (or the creation myth of your choice).
If you're like most people, however, you'll accept that the Earth was a result of the big bang theory in a universe that is constantly expanding from it.
God made the world and I am sticking with this answer. Why? For His people on earth to live in and all the animals and plants to live in as well.
It is my belief. I believe that God created us people and made the world for us to live in, including all that is on the universe. There are so many questions on how we exist and I believe that God only has the answer to these questions.
Who mad god? And why? You can't even consider an answer to this question, right?
God is eternal so no one created God. He lives forever even before our time. Austinstar, I am sorry if I did not answer your question right.
Did you consider the second part of the question? Why God? Why do you believe he/she/it is eternal? Why is there a god? and just Why in general would he make a small planet in a small solar system that supports small humans?
"In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a great deal of people angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move."
-- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
And the sum total of the universal question equals 42. Awesome!
The Jatravartid people of Viltvodle Six firmly believe that the entire Universe was, in fact, sneezed out of the nose of a being called the Great Green Arkleseizure. They live in fear of the time they call ‘The Coming of the Great While Handkerchief"
Austinstar and Christopher are obviously a hip pair of froods who know where their towels are.
Keith, you are welcome to join us! We're a party wherever we go!
"So long, so long, so long... and thanks for all the fish!!"
Gravity made the world. Why? Because that's what it does.
There is no gravity. The Earth sucks!
Gravity definitely sucks. It also bites and blows and causes wrinkles.

Why does God give children to those who abuse them? This has been a question that I have been trying to find an answer for. Discussing this through the years I honestly am looking for a true understanding of why? There are many in the world who would love to have children however they will never...

If the Christian god is omnipotent then why would it need to order the murder of it's son so that it can forgive? No Christian can answer this because it is utter nonsense. But I challenge any christian to give it a try.

Why does God do bad things to good people if He really is just?I want honest answers only. No name calling or "my religion is better" stuff.

If you were god for a day, what would you do?

Why are we here on Earth ?What am i supposed to do here ?that's a spiritual kind of question. But it's haunting me since morning. Everyday we wake up, go to work and then get to sleep. Is that's only the life ? Only this much ? What is your opinion ?
