Them that lift YA UP and them that want to step on Ya till you are outa sight.
There ARE only two kinds of people.
Now that I got that off my chest that is not an entirely accurate statement. Yes, there are people who will be your true friends and want to see you succeed and yes, there will be people who will 'hate' and want to see you fail, but there are also people who either don't know you exist but wouldn't wish anything bad for you, people who don't know you exist and don't care one way or the other, and people who know you exist but don't know you well enough to make an informed decision about whether or not they should care.
Nothing in this world, when dealing with humans, is ever just black and white, there are indefinate shades of gray. Just keep your outlook positive and the 'haters' won't bother you as much.
bother is not a strong emotion..... couldn't sink a ship.
If being bothered was the least of my / OUR worries wouldn't this be a wonderful world ?
Them that say they will and them that said they would if?
there are only two types of people:
those that finish lists and those...
There are only two types of people, the good and the bad. Nothing in between.
There are only two kinds of people ...
them that pick their nose and them that lie about it.
Those who pick their nose, and those who let others do it for them.
OK I'm sorry.
them that do and them that don't ? eat ice cream.
This is a rather narrow view of humanity. There are many more vectors of creation than this one.
But that's your point, right? Say something outrageous and provoke a discussion? Very nice, anyway.
I find many people will be "tweeners." They sit between your UPpers and your DOWNers. Sometimes, it depends on their mood, or perhaps they are highly opinionated on certain subjects and only put you down when you say something about which they entirely disagree.
I'd like to be an UPper, but most of my life I've been a tweener. Sometimes ego and impatience get the best of me. But I'm working on it.
We're all a work in progress. There are conformists, and non-conformists?? I tend to look at others from the perspective of the types denoted in the personality test based on the works of Carl Jung. I urge everyone to take the test for better understanding of thine self, and increased acceptance of others. We're often so hard on ourselves, and even harder on our fellow man.
I think lone star stated it perfectly. I try to be a tweener, which is hard on Hub Pages.
If I were going to lump people in two categories in this online environment, I would be prone to say that there are those who imagine the bad in others; so they have a reason for debate, and those that try to assume the good in others; so that they can find an interesting discussion..
Reminds me of a Jim Hightower quote:
"There are two kinds of people in the world- those who think there are two kinds of people in the world, and those who think it might just be a wee bit more complicated than that."
There is only two kinds of people? Untrue.
There are only human beings. Singular.
There are only two kinds of people: those who are attempting t to make progress and those who get in the f*&%$#. way.
Sorry it took orever to answer this ..
i try to lift everyone else up, and if only one reaches out to pull me up, then life is good.
And if they don't? life is still good.
Jerami, I think you're one of the nicest, easiest-to-talk-to people around here. You've always been nice to me even when we disagreed on things.
I hope you're okay?!
What a nice thing to say ..
Thank you.
But I am sorry to say.... aint OK... but I'll get over it one way or another. Everything always works out or the best. ,,, whether I like it or not.... That has always always been my phylosophy and ...
I'm sticking to it.
There ARE only two kinds of people:
THOSE WHO PEE IN THE SHOWER.
and
THOSE WHO PRETEND THEY DON'T
there are two kinds of people, givers and takers!! Some people you can help, some you just can't. It's just how life works.

What if this happened today. All the news networks, all the world leaders, all the scientists, all the leaders of churches announced that it was proven that God does not exist. Proven beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever. What would you do? How would society and the world react?

I refuse to prove that I exist, says God, for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing. But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It proves you exist, and so therefore, you don't," "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and...

A theist asked me to start a separate thread for this. I refused at first, but then I thought "why not?"Let's understand first that I am not against religion per se. I believe it can help some people. I do not think that religious belief indicates a lack of intelligence either. In fact,...

There are several forums going on right now on the topic of religion, belief in god, etc. With all the intense and often heated discussions going on in this Hub, I'm wondering about the importance of the forum as a meeting place for lonely people. I am one of these, although some of you...
