   I am thinking that I must have done something wrong in a previous existance, this place that we call home really is not a nice place to be. Is this 'hell' with greed, violence, theft all around us. Have all the Nazarines left this place and now we are at the merci of Satan, who will help us, or are beyond help. Are we the dammed!!!!

            Just because your Church minister told you about an arch fiend of God called Satan doesn't mean he actually exists.
            
            Perhaps if you studied the Hebrew scriptures; looked up a few Hebrew words; made an effort to understand Jewish culture and biblical interpretation; researched Jewish and Church history, you might find that in your walk with Jesus, he removes the medieval scales from your eyes.

      Talk about having a negative attitude. I'll admit the world has a lot of problems, but ALMOST all problems stem from either Politics or Religion.

      It is just nature. Look at ALL other species. It is a fight for survival. Animals, bacteria, plants, it's all the same. The DNA that is best adapted for the environment wins. There is no reason other then simple physics.

         It's not a fight for survival. It's a battle to live peacefully. This isn't the way the world used to be. All animals and men were meant to live together happily without corruption. Satan is the corrupter of our minds and environment.

         So what you are saying, it's only natural, and normal for us to kill, be cruel, & violent one another. The last one standing wins. (To pass on their "superior" genes, of course.)
         
         I haven't seen any other atheists on these forums, in my three years on hubpages, admit to this.

               He said it plain and simple! Don't you comprehend English?
               
               I suggets your philosophy may be the same, seeing as you are protecting his position! I have said all along, if evolution is correct, what's wrong with "evil" behaviour. That strongest survives, period.
               The end justifies the means, evolutionarily speaking.
               
               As for my philosophy, I have never hidden it.
