Vidya, I had a great time reading your beautiful hub. Kudu Mangalore seems to be a wonderful place.  I especially enjoyed the dolls depicting village life images. They appear to be a lot of fun.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place of your country. I always enjoy learning about India because our ancestors have shared the same land for generations.Thank you very much! smile

      Blessings and Love! smile

Thanks Misbah for sharing the link to my article. I am glad you liked it. We needed a change and so did our pet. So we agreed when they asked us. Thought we stayed only for two days, it was a nice journey. Have a great day, stay blessed.

Yes Brenda, as cases were less there and it was to a home of our relative, we took the risk. We also went to only a few tourist spots. Took all due care, with masks and sanitizers.stayed there only for two days. Thanks for the visit and comments, have a great day and week, stay blessed.

Hi John, good to see your comments. Yes it was a good break after being stuck at home for so long. Our pet loved it too. Many other videos I was not able to upload because of difference in file format. I wish I had shot more photos instead. Have a great day and week dear John, blessings to you.

It sounds like such a lovely trip, Vidya.  Getting away from technology for a few days to decompress and unwind, especially in such a lovely setting, sounds perfect to me.  It is great that your dog also had a good time.  Thanks, Misbah, for sharing this with us.

Thanks Peggy for the visit and comments. Yes at first I missed using my phone and the internet. Then as we started soaking in the beautiful nature around, we forgot about it it. A welcome detox from technology, it was for us. Our dog enjoyed the outing too. Have a great day, blessings to you.

Hi Pamela, I am glad you liked reading about our trip. We really enjoyed this retreat into nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The tranquility was so soothing. I think once in a while we need to take such breaks. And moreover, as cases were less there and it was to a home of our relative, we took the risk. Took all due care, with masks and sanitizers. Stayed there only for two days. I think we all need such breaks, though the situation right now does not allow us to do so. Have a great day and week dear friend, stay blessed.
