Thanks SweetiePie.  I really appreciate your saying that.  It is so far from my desire to offend any here.  Thank you, for speaking up.

Hi SweetiePie,

I found out that you can flag an offensive hub, but not a profile.  I found one last week that had a very graphic picture in the profile, and found out that you have to send the link to team@hubpages.com, they can take care of offensive profiles..  If it's only the hub itself that is graphic, just flag it.

Hubpages took care of that hub, but thanks for the input everyone.

There are others:

CAUTION: Between R and X rated...
http://hubpages.com/hub/Free-sexy-photo-gallery1
http://hubpages.com/hub/Hot-Couples-Gallery1
http://hubpages.com/hub/Kristina-Rose
http://hubpages.com/hub/Nancy---The-girl-next-door

And from this: http://hubpages.com/hub/Adult-Content-and-Adsense

HubPages is a website designed around sharing advertising revenue for high-quality, user-generated content. It differs from other blog networking sites(including adsense affiliates) by using the Google AdSense API to manage revenue-sharing with writers. I think Hubpage users carry less risk of getting banned for adult stuff or some other offensive content as hubpages moderation team itself warns you even before Google Adsense Team does notice it.

Honestly I had never flagged anything before two days ago.  I do not go looking to flag because I am focused on what I am doing, but I did flag the hub in question.  Hubpages took care of it and I am glad for that.  Thanks for sharing Trish.

You're welcome.  I don't go looking for those types either, it's just through scrolling that I come across them.

I did not think you did Trish smile.  I appreciated the advice.  I was just clarifying because yesterday because my feelings got hurt when someone implied I was a prude and had an odd defintion of what is offensive.  It is okay now, I am just learning not to take what they say seriously.

Nobody said you were a prude.

Misha said that you may have a different definition of nudity than HP.

Sheesh.

Sheesh.

Didn't you know there is only one TRUE definition of nudity? And considering there could be more than one cannot be serious! wink

I flagged one that had graphic instructions on how to use a condom. I wasn't sure if it would be accepted since it was drawings and not photographs.

Great idea, we wouldn't want people knowing how to use a condom correctly!
Being that it was drawings this is a case of political correctness gone mad.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess everyone should already know how to use a condom right, your parents taught you, maybe your teacher taught you, maybe your first girl/boy friend taught you.

Yes, but is HubPages the place to learn how to use a condom? I don't think it was necessary to have about 4 drawings of an erect penis. I didn't see it as "political correctness".  And, I did have second thoughts about flagging it since it was drawings. Anyway, HubPages will make the ultimate decision.

Some schools and parents aren't as open minded unfortunately, especially in other parts of the world, some people have to learn on the internet...
It is actually quite common for people to misuse a condom, you can put them on inside out, there should be a gap at the tip etc etc...
Just seems like an over reaction in my opinion.

You could say that about just about every post here. Is it the best place to learn about internet marketing, traveling, relationships, etc. and yet people still post these Hubs. I didn't realize Hub Pages was a family, read:censorship excusing, site. I mean if you read the title of the hub and it says how to use a condom you still have to click it to go there, it's hard to argue that you didn't know what to expect. I mean I'm not against it but I would understand your hesitations to a Hub solely about porngraphy, but the use of a condom! Je ne suis pas d'accord!

Ok, so the consensus is that I made a mistake flagging this hub. Can we please move on?
