I fight and fight and still I fall
But back to your feet my soul still calls
The rain and pain left my mind restrained
But I still gain, no life lives in vain

Sometimes it seems has if God peaks out
from behind the shadows from within me

The shadows that are casted into my life
but only to show he is still the brights
      of all lights......

The orangey glow spreads across the land
Terror encroaches upon this weary man
    Another night full of fright
He secretes away out of sight praying he won’t have to fight.

    tonight is the night
    for witches and fright

Fragments of a song in the making~

    Meet me outside of nowhere
Take me up the back stairs
    We’ll watch the moon
    Dance around the stars.

Amber red paints the night sky
Whiskey shot through our closed eyes
Mellow sun wakes up the dawn.

    With bare feet
    on damp lawn
    step forward
    to greet dawn.

the moon in his cheap disguise
too bright to open up his eyes
sees the sun begin to rise
to late now to argue why

Oh to the night...which starts now on a winter's hour...
Who can survive the night...alone...by their own power?
The best thing we can do to make it through the night is sleep...
And pray to be unaware of things outside our rooms...that silently creep. (A poem for Halloween)

A mango dawn is what I see
    No-one dare tell me differently
It brightens, it taints, seduces the sky
In awe, I coo: oh me, oh my...

    Silent sadness, dark of night.
    Wishing for the morning's light.
But darkness comes 'fore dawn they say.
    Tomorrow is another day.

    The morning sun peers
from the clouds as they part
    I stretch in my bed
    and have a good fart

    (sorry about that) try:
    The morning sun peers
from the clouds as they part
    it brushes my cheeks
    and awakens my heart

    (Better?)

    Clouds billowing up above me

With the golden hue of sunset light

I caught a glimpse of splendid glory

    Only God possessed

Up past the tops of tallest pines,
    the orange morning sunlight shines,
and brings through windows morning's light,
as dawn replaces dark of night.
