smiley faces in icing on cakes,
peace signs on dusty car windows,
and squiggly doogles when I am bored.
Otherwise, it's nature in pastels, charcoal, ink and graphite.
I love drawing from life, be it portraits, nudes, still lifes or landscapes. Pencils or watercolors.
I like to bust out the coloring crayons once in a while and doodle it up!
Architectural perspectives, nature (trees, animals), people, bridges, buildings, interior and exterior spaces, mind bending puzzles.
dragons, mythical creatures, I draw "songs"..I hear it and draw what ever comes into my head about it..I also do Picasso type oil paintings, design jewelry and blown glass, it is drawn into formulation first, and I love to draw animals also...
dragons are neat to draw in the sense that you can do them anyway you want since they don't exist.
I just like drawing whatever I see, I have done dragons, and devils, but I guess I just draw what I perceive to be do able..I havent had art classes, I'm not very good, but I enjoy it. I have recently started painting...it makes the time go by, and I have alot of time on my hands..
I'm doing giant doodles most of the time:) and then refine it into something figurative:)
I love to draw faces. Drawing relaxes me. When the world overwhelms me a pick up a pen or pencil and draw. Its like taking a nap in the middle of the day.
Sometimes I like to just squiggle a line on the paper, and see what I can form out of that! It is allot of fun, to see what comes about on paper:)
Portraits !
In graphite. Usually A4 up to A3 size. A4 lets me carry it around. I might do some tutorials some time.
When i'm bored i draw my hand holding the pen, which is drawing a hand holding a pen, etc.
I love to draw children and animals mostly....women are fun too...but I like to draw stuff moving...where you can see muscle tone, and I like to do hair, especially if it's blowing in the wind.. and I like to draw fantasy things....like make up drawings of dragons and winged animals...I doodle alot...LOL...and waste alot of paper...
oh well....
i draw almost anything. my favorite is animals. to add the child like mischief to their furry faces is a joy.
I like to draw made up things, dragons, fairies, ect... have tried to draw my son but it did not turn out well
I started there. Ever changing/ always present.
I sketched a lodge once, it was my first structure drawing. I was surprised it turned out:) Have to say it wasn't my favorite thing to draw though. Love to just put lines down, and see where it takes me. That is the most fun for me, when it comes to drawing!
Check out an artist: Peter Milton. He's a printmaker, but his drawing talent is reflected perfectly in his finished prints. He's one of my favorites.
I'm a fan of imagination-scapes. Places based on real sites but twisted around enough to catch a viewers' eyes and hold them in front of it for another couple of seconds or minutes. I like to thrill with intricate details and hidden characters that add to the descriptive narrative already established. Or, anything I can just tune out the rest of the world!
I like drawing women. Portraits mostly. But I actually get the most fun out of drawing pictures of women (not nudes) and adding elements from other pictures and images. I sometimes do this to create a fantasy environments or backgrounds in the drawing.
I drew a lot between 14-17. Then my brother moved and took his Playboys with him, then I was let out of my room from being grounded. I haven't drawn much since.
the drapes in my dining room on a cool winter evening and then sitting down for a nice candlelit dinner with friends and family.
I love to sketch fashion. I draw unusual clothes. I have not sketched in a long time. It is now time for me to resume my sketching.
I love drawing serpents. I love the way they coil and wrap around things. Such beautiful creatures!
I like drawing seascapes and clouds, and copying Monet paintings.
I like drawing (with color as the end result as I don't like to just end up with a black and white -- and shades of grey) birds, foliage, flowers, animals with fur, and settings with people. I have a long way to go in learning to do any of these really well. As for the settings with people, I only do a painting of a situation if it's something that really touches me in a way that says, "Paint this." I never used to think in images of paintings but now I do.
Need time to think. Lots of things I love to draw, especially with fresh green color, but can't decide the FAVORITE one.
I love to draw tigers and landscapes. i also love to do deer and dragons. I don't really have a favorite, but I guess if I had to answer quickly, I would probably say tigers.
I usually draw from my imagination. I love drawing animals, and also portraits, but I really love drawing fantasy, or the like. I'm afraid I'm not that good, though.
i doodle whimsical flowers all the time. Usually including polka dots, stripes, and lots of repetitive detail. i'm also obsessed with lettering.
Ships. For some reason if I sit down to draw anything, perhaps to show people I can draw, I'll draw a ship. Usually it is a full-rigged clipper or an old barque or brig or somesuch. It was something I used to do as a child, long before I joined the Navy and actually found myself on ships.
The second thing is aircraft. I was raised in World War Two when aircraft were very much on the mind of the populace on London, the city in which I spent a good deal of my time. So I developed a penchant towards drawing aeroplanes...this long before I became an air-ground (aeradio) operator.
If I draw a scene, it will invariably be a seascape. But then, many years ago a friend who was also an astrologer said to me "That is because the planet Neptune, plays a big part in your life." So maybe that's the reason...
I have a great challenge in drawing. It is difficult for me to draw what I see. Sound strange. I love drawing people and sometimes they look pretty good though distorted. After all look at Picasso among other artists. I just love having a pencil in hand and attempting to draw ...while listening to music.
My favorite is abstract. Though I can say I mix everything in one. Sometimes I don't know what I am drawing till someone tell me.

Do you think it's disingenuous to trace images used in drawings and paintings? Many people posting art instruction type hubs will direct the reader to trace an image to be used in a certain art project or painting. I've always wondered if this wasn't a bit fraudulent. Shouldn't the artist draw...
