It seems to take an inordinate amount of time to refresh the Hubtivity and to navigate within Hubpages.....is it just me?
No, it's not just you. I've been having the same experience
It's terible at the moment, and is just on Hubpages, as other sites are way quicker. I have taken over 5 minutes just to get here.
I've noticed it, too. But assumed it was on my side. It takes a long time to process comments and publications take much longer.
Here, too...at first we thought it was Internet Explorer, so we checked Mozilla...same problem.
I thought it was just my computer...but it's slow on my laptop at home too....think all that hubchallenge stuff damaged the system???? Overload???
Yes I also think that hubpages servers are overloaded. I think there will be a downtime in the upcoming days and hubpages staff will increase their capacity to overcome this problem. Lets wait for them....
Nah....thats no fun...lets chastise them severely in the forums...oh wait...I see my scores dropping as I type!!!
Now I notice it's even getting posts out of order!!
Oh, good. I'm not going blind. I thought my eyes needed checking. I posted a comment and a few minutes later (maybe five) posted another one to a different hub. The hubtivity section said that I posted the first one last.
For me, sometimes when I give answer to a visitor's comment on my hub, it takes very long time and then when I press the submit button twice or thrice, the comment appears two or three times. Then I usually delete the two comments and keep just one..... Has it happened with anyone else?
Yes, I was trying to write a Hub and it's very slow. It ate a lot of my tags first and didn't show my template correctly. It's fixed now but still running slowly.
Everything is fine for me now. It sometimes happens in between and then for sometime it is okay.
Yes it is sooo slow for me. I think I even lost a piece of a hub I was creting. It has been like this since last night!
Yes seems slow and different.
My score was humming along nicely tween 95-99 and kept dropping and stayed dropped ,despite publishing and being active.
Cant figure it at all.
Here another thing I was curious about ,maybe you guys know
If traffic is really good one day ,maybe even two , then drops off ,I dont really get that part .
I mean if a particular hub is good wont it stablise ,rather than hit extremes? double red arrows ,then blip blue.
The reason I was thinking it should remain stable is because traffic is moving 24/7, and not just our individual time zones.
Sorry if I got it all wrong , just one of those , "why is that" thoughts.
I'm not surprised you're the first one on the line! Hopping does have its advantages over walking doesn't it?
I think everybody is brain dead from the 30 day hub challenge.
Yes, it is taking ages to load pages and also my latest hubs are not getting any traffic statistics so are staying with really low figures!
Man this is sloooooow...someone whip down to the engine room , maybe they need jumper cables...
Anybody else noticed that YouTube videos are not showing in their hubs?
I just checked your ghostie hub and the youtube vid is working A-OK! ,must be some glitch ,but least ya knows they are up n runnin ( maybe the wee gremlins is being naughty)...lol
Thanks EK, no more chicken for those pesky gremlins, I've told them about eating after midnight. Strange that they're not working for me, but good to know others can still see them. Many thanks, much appreciated.
mine isn't slow--just having trouble loading when I try to edit hubs and then I keep getting error messages
I often wonder what the HP server farm most look like...and how many colocation facilities they have?
I wonder that myself sometimes, and then I wonder what colocation facilities are?
lol, only one way too find out, Google here I come.
'Smelling of mildew and decay' lol, as far as new words go, that's a good one.
If you like Fusty you may also like 'Musty' - Saturated with dust and stale odors, nice!
I finally got an update on page views....but scores havent changed
Drat! I am here wandering around reading stuff and it's taking forever to bring anything up. This is 7 hours into the slowness.
Am back. Noticed something odd in new hubs. One hub seemed interesting so checked it out. The new hub rated 50. But when I opened it, there were 4 small unlabeled pictures of I don't know what. No writing. A big zero. That can't be right.
slow response rate is a familar issue from my time at ecademy...the popularity of the site combined with scalability of servers is probably the issue although i dont claim any technicalknowledge...
chrome browser seems to be responding well, and I'm using mobile broadband from the uk if that makes a difference.
I wonder if this is why my earnings are WAY down today? Are the ads not loading or something? I've only made .50 cents! Typically at this point in the day I've made around $4...something is really weird...I've been earning really steady the last 2 weeks so to have a day like this is really weird. I hope it's just a fluke and is attributed to the site being slow today.
Anyone else see a decrease in earnings?
I'm still having issues, as well. Very slow day. Traffic stats haven't moved in hours again. It moved earlier today, but stopped again. It seems odd it would affect earnings, though...
My traffic stats aren't changing as often as normal. For me the website is if anything faster than normal, but then I am in the UK like DennisBarker. Also I am using Opera browser which may make a difference.
Well I'm glad your earnings are up! lol I've gotten very few clicks...maybe they'll come later tonight..really weird!
Good to know I wasn't the only one who had things running slow on hubpages...I was thinking it had to do something my computer. Still...that conspiracy theory that R. Blue proposed earlier might have merit. I'm going to be on the look out for extra UFO activity in stratosphere tonight just to be on the safe side...NA NU, NA NU!
My load rate seems ok after I clear out my history and cache stuff if I don't ...then yes, everything seems to take hourrrrrrrrrs to load lol

This has been perplexing me for a while - has something changed or have I just gone ga-ga?Being in a different time zone from most Hubbers, I rely on being able to click the "Your" button to catch up with who's posted on threads since I commented.Recently I've been missing comments...

Three days ago, I posted a comment in the hub "TN Legislative Assembly Elections, 2011" posted by 'bigfather'. I posted several comments in that hub for nearly one week. I found to my horror that one person called 'karunanidhi' issueing a veiled threat that I will be burnt alive if...

Received a few e-mails from followers that they were unable to post a comment to my latest Hub? When I look at the Hub everything appears to be normal but not one comment has been posted, which is unusual? Is there a problem with the comments section?I just tried to post a comment to...

For the past few days I am noticing slower traffic then usual. A few days ago, I responded to a comment on one of my hubs three times and it was never posted. Tonight, the same thing is happening. I have posted twice to a comment on one of my hubs in response to a viewer and it does not appear. Is...

Probably server related but I will say it anyway.Posted a comment, it vanished, checked my hubitivity, found the record, clicked on it and got this message: Sorry, the post you are looking for is no longer available on this page. If it still exists you should be able to find it here...

I would liked to have put this in the thread about it, shown below, but it was closed to comments. A comment I just made, on someone's Hub, posted twice. I only clicked "Submit" once. I went back and deleted the second one, via the "Edit" option. There is evidently still a...
