      Thanks Dave...Last fall I had my best month (over $700)...This month *will* beat it...and ALMOST pay the bills for the month (thank goodness for financial aid picking up the slack while I'm in school or I'd be sunk)!
      
      I'm even considering sending some work to a friend whose trying to get her start...I can't believe it's gotten to a point where I'm not sure I can handle it all It kinda gets me choked up...when I was little one of the things I never forgot is that my parents warned me I couldn't make a living as a writer.

            Aww thank you! I haven't quite figured out how to make money around here...I've only made 38 cents but I AM learning. It feels good to be handling my own business, my way. I can hardly believe it myself. And I'm really happy to have found this community. Very supportive.

               I think you're already doing better than me! I'm at $1.38, and I've been here 2 months.  Admittedly, I haven't really been trying to make money though.  I had just been away from writing for so long, and this seemed like a good way to get back into my rhythm.  If I make a little dough along the way, then so much the better.

    Mega, I have been to Paris so many times.....
    I do just want to get home.  I missed the holidays this year, and this 5 week trip has felt like an eternity.  I think it is the lack of sleep.
