                  Pinky, before I go to sleep I am listening to the songs on you troops hub. It is beautiful. Tears are proof we have feelings.    GS - It was nice to see you pop back in! Haven't heard from you in a while around here.
   
   Lynne - Be careful with the herbals.  People tend to discount them because they are "natural", but in the same way that they shouldn't be forgotten about because a lot of them do work, they also need to be monitored because they can have the same interactions and side effects as synthetic drugs.  (I'm sure you know this... its just the "mom" in me that has to say something.)
   
   That said, have you looked into trying St. John's Wort for depression?  I had some success with it back in college, but wound up stopping because it can put you at a higher risk of glaucoma which I am already in a risk group for.  It is one that can interact w/ other drugs, so look into it first, but I'm not the only one that I've heard tout its benefits.  Also, remember to include exercise and activities if you are up for it... they get all those good body juices going to help the brain work better.  I'm sorry you are having a rough time... please keep coming around to talk to us.  Sometimes a little conversation and laughter are the best medicine.

   Hey TS, I appreciate the mothering even though I'm prob old enough to be yours, lol. Anyway, I didn't just switch them lightly before, I went to an herbalist who gave me some information even a DVD on thyroid that explains better how it works to function a lot of our body systems. I have pamphlets, leaflets, etc to read. I read and read some more and then went with the suggested supplement.
   
   I actually felt a lot better after voicing a lot of my concern here last night. Slept better after taking an herbal sleep helper and got a solid 8 hrs of sleep. First time that has happened in a while.
   
   You all are the best and I really appreciate you listening.

      Yep doing plenty of research and the weather has opened up for the next couple of days here so I think a nice walk this afternoon to see mom's new furniture is in order.

    Ouch that is some expenditure. I'm pretty good today. Mom gave me a good idea on the school thing and gonna look into it and see if I can find a program somewhere close. Radiology pays really big and we got confirmation that the new hospital will be done in two years here so that would or could be perfect timing.

    Thanks for the dog Hmr.  Looks delicious.  Unfortunately, I'll have to pass too.  Think I've got some mild food poisoning from my dinner date last night. (Go figure... hardly ever go out w/ the hubby, and the one time we do, we both wind up sick.)  Just trying to make it through my day at work as uneventfully as possible.

    I've been researching online today but not finding much.
    
    I need core classes to start with from an accredited school. If anyone knows of anything like this feel free to offer up some advice.

       U can get core classes from Univ of Pheonix on line..(Expensive though) Have you got a Technical College that is in the Univ of Ga system (all credits transfer)

    Actually if you don't have a job you can't even apply to Univ of Pheonix, lol. I'm gonna call the college I applied to and see what they recommend. If I can get the core out of the way from an accredited college with good GPA then I can reapply to transfer into their school. I just feel like every freaking where I turn I hit a brick wall.

    Down our way we have Savannah Tech that does that (I graduated from the CCNA (Cisco Certified NEtwork Assoc) program there all my credits would transfer to any GA College in the State University System I thought every county had one of these schools

    Lynne - Check out community colleges as well. Generally more affordable, and if you can get your core there, you can transfer the credits and have your actual degree from a more traditional 4 year institution if that's the way you want to go.

    We do have a West GA campus but at this point I'm thinking I may have just missed the train. I will call the school Monday and see what they say, but I'm not thinking at this point it is going to be good news.
