There are a few Hubbers being published in this one.

Brenda Arledge
Ahh! They finally got me on their list. Bredz, thank you very much for sharing this.
Congratulations to you, John and Farah
Blessings and Love!
Misbah
I'm so glad that Cyber Cookie Monster left your emails alone this time.
Congratulations!!
Yes, I received an email about this acceptance too. Congratulations to you all, especially Misbah being successful this time.
Congrats for the publication John, Brenda, Misbah, and Farah. Blessings to all of you!
Congratulations to all! Looking forward to this one. Thank you, Brenda! Yes, I got the mail too but I didn't get an email for the other book “A letter or a poem....” but it is already there on amazon. Did anyone buy a copy of that? I would like to see how it looks in print. Will probably order both together.
Stay blessed everyone.
Hi Farah, congratulations. I only purchased the Kindle ebook of the first one. It was ok, but I think a hard copy is always better.
Years ago, before online writing was a thing, I was published in four anthologies - all hard backs, for which I received a free copy of each.
The first was "The Flame of Eternity", published by The Poetry Guild in 1999.
The second was "Poetry's Elite The Best Poets of 2000", also by The International Library of Poetry and registered with The Library of Congress.
The third was "The Poems and Poets of 2001", published by The International Library of Poetry and registered with The Library of Congress.
The fourth was "Theatre of the Mind", published by Noble House Publishers in 2003.
I'm very proud of these accomplishments. Having the hardback copies displayed in my living room gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
All of you should be very proud. And I'm proud of you!
Thank you, Shauna. Much appreciated. You should be proud. I also treasure the self-published book of poetry that I have of yours.
John, that means the world to me. I didn't even bring up my self-published poetry book, but it was an item I was able to cross off my bucket list. It wasn't very successful, but it was a goal achieved. I'm not a fan of self-publishing. I'm more proud of the aforementioned anthologies because my work was chosen and deemed worthy.
Congrats to Brenda, Misbah, and Farah. Wish you all the very best in your future endeavors.
It is a pity that we can’t share the poems here, that we wrote for these publications.
Agreed.
Most places that accept work want pieces that have not been unpublished anywhere...even blogs.
For the ones that let me have previous publications...I post here first, then submit.
Shauna, I am not really a fan of self-publishing either, except a publication I was part of through The Creative Exiles and have ten or so poems in.
My only personal attempt was an eBook of my early HubPages poetry and I think I sold five copies.
Yours was an excellent read, however, of your progress as a poet, and early years and I am proud to have it in my collection.
John, you make my heart swell. Thank you, my dear friend!
I began writing poetry when I was 18 as an emotional release. At first I didn't share my poems. They were my way of working through my problems and the resultant emotions.
I finally made them public by way of my self-published "Hearts and Rainbows, A Poetic Look at Life" when I'd gotten myself together and was able to move on without the sorrows and emotional issues I'd been dealing with. Putting my soul on paper and making it available to the public helped put me to rest.
I no longer have the drive to write poetry.
Instead, I prefer fiction. It gives my creativity an avenue that isn't governed by my feelings. Fiction allows my muse to speak without emotional struggles holding her back.
That said, emotions come thru in my fiction. What would fiction - or any story - be without emotions? I think fiction is an escape for those of us who enjoy it. We leave this earth and our intimate world as we know it, and travel to realms, destinies, that we can't otherwise do.
Shauna
Your book sounds interesting.
I googled it & I love the cover.
Maybe I can find a copy before too long.
I'm so glad John mentioned it.
Brenda, I published thru Lulu but I believe it's also available on Amazon.
Shauna
Thanks. I did see you published it on Lulu but I didn't see it on kindle.
I've heard a little bit about Lulu before...I might read more about it.
I'm gonna look here locally...I saw it say it is available at Walmart.
Brenda, I didn't do an eBook. Soft back hold-in-your-hand is the way I went. I don't care for eBooks.
Thanks for letting me know Shauna.
I read alot of ebooks because they're right here on my phone.
But I'll still look for your soft back...let you know if I find it.
Thanks...if i don't find it local.
I added it to my list
Brenda, it's only available in online stores, not brick and mortar. Barnes and Noble dot com and Walmart dot com carry it in addition to Lulu and Amazon.

Please read Misbah's beautiful poem "Bury Them in the Depths of the Earth".This poem talks about life in general from a viewpoint of a person who is a bit frustrated and tired with life and has tried to portray her emotions in the shape of a beautiful poem. Thanks for this intense imagery...
